Yeah, I never really saw the RSE design as a downgrade. It's different, not worse. The Pokemon fangame community is just really messed up overall, I kind of hate them to be quite honest. It's all pretty screenshots to them; meaning and purpose never matters here.

Which is ironic for me to say, given how much my fangame's reputation was built around images...

I had to give up the game, I just wasn't feeling it anymore. I couldn't put my heart and soul into a fangame, it was never really going to be "my" design... too restrictive, the engine practically fights innovation. I just didn't feel like it was worth putting all that effort into, not for a fangame. It inspired me to go into game development, though; I'm applying for a Game Design degree at Full Sail University in the fall. Until then, I've been working as the Editor-In-Chief at a game news network to get my foot into the door of the industry... we're going to E3 this summer!

Indeed it is :P My original name here was actually ZephyrII (as in Zephyr2, because Zephyr's taken :P) After a while I shortened it down. It's more catchy that way :P
