  • Tomorrow (or today depending on when you get this message) is the big day! I've got high hopes for my manbeast and the daughter of your claim.
I saw that you're a bird lover. I've been birding for years, and I keep bird feeders in my backyard for the benefit of my feathered friends.
    So, how are ya?
I am sorry for my late reply. :< ; I feel so pathethic~ I've been busy with examinations.

I only have one summer class but I barely have free time as it is. I spent about 20 hours on Monday finishing up my homework in addition to two days during the week when I have class and can't actually work. Maybe in my freshman year I could have held a part-time job, but 300- and 400-level courses are far more time consuming. As for the other days, I guess I have those free more or less, but family matters and research takes up a fair amount of time. I'm a computer science major, so a lot of the stuff I learn is from other people or online in my free time. Pretty much everything I know about network security I learned by myself. I'm not sure I'd want to sacrifice that time doing something unless I'm going to learn in the process, so if I did try and get a job, it would have to be doing something computer-related.

The past two years my scholarships covered my expenses, but I'm probably going to be taking out some loans in order to finish.
I have a whopping $0 right now (spent my last one yesterday), and I want to buy StarCraft 2 and some other stuff that I don't have money for. I'm considering offering my computer skills to get some money, but I doubt I'm going to get much of a response, and I can't get a job because of my summer course. I'd need to make at least $300 to consider it, since SC2 costs $60 and the other stuff costs about $200 total.
Hey hey, long time no see.

Hmm... I might consider going, but I don't really have many people I could go with. It'd be my first con if I went. I think I'd like to, but late October is right around when my first midterms will be for the fall semester, and a lot of my courses this year are going to be pretty tough. Also, I don't have very much money (I'd definitely end up sleeping in my car if I went). Still, I'd really like to go, especially since it's only a few hours away.
