A lot of people have the same sentiments. But you have heard about the whole anti-scanlation coalition and the recent Cease and Desist orders to Serebii and Pokebeach (Wonder why there hasn't been any Sceenshots in Serebii ever since that Gavin guy called Joe?)

This law will just empower the industry more to kill these things.

Well as I said it's essentially an extension of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act which would essentially get rid of the ambiguity of the Fair Use Clause which is the basis of most fansite wiki's and information.

If people on the internet realize this, there must be an organized opposition against this bill.
