Btw, since we're using 3 auths on the server now, Vrai and I wondered if we could give active regulars mods and restrict most/all the mod commands to admins (so it's kinda like "voice" on IRC, it just gives a + etc). So it shows appreciation for being an active member I guess? And the past server mods become admins instead. Idk, just an idea.

I was having issues making it permanent. Wolf said he's contacting Petie about wiping the old one. I'm still gonna try to make my server permanent for backup purposes though. (By permanent I mean, if the server goes down, we don't lose all the scripting and the user database).

Petie and I sorted out everything, we have the server up and going with a fresh member list. :) New scripts that allows me to update the scripts and tiers (aka ban lists) via command, so I don't have to bother Petie too! But yeah, Anti, Vrai, etc are unbanned with the new member list, and I'll give you owner authority when we're both on (Luke, Aura, Anti, etc should get owners too of course).

By the way though, Petie, Vrai, and I discussed that before giving authority to someone, we could confirm that the user is not an imposter by requesting him/her to send a PM on PC, just so the typical steinbeck problem doesn't happen again lol. And we can't check for alts because of the new server anyway.

Haha... we need a redump of everything. I'm tired of having to worry about all this crap going on plus it happened again and I was asleep while I presume they IP banned me? I dunno. Whatever we need to do with Petie we need to do ASAP.

K, oppo and I cleared everyone out by clearing their passes, coming on with their names, deauthing, and registering with a password like uoisnjiva[phbvnjockzh. as of right now though we're going to just deauth everyone and everything and hopefully see if we can find out how to get auth 4+ and see who all is

edit: yeah as of rn idk how to see auth 4+. the only people with any kind of power that we know of though are oppo and myself and we're both on the server. i took the 4 auth from mysterious kids and changed the password so yep. hopefully we won't get attacked if/when/before petie comes. o7

what i'm assuming happened is they had a couple spare guys at 4 auth chilling where we couldn't ban them. :/

But...it is the default/official script? :\ I can find a different script that someone made, but that wouldn't be any better. I doubt it's the script's fault anyway, there isn't any scripts for security in it as far as I know. I'll just be more careful with giving someone authority, and check their aliases first (or have the user log into another registered alt for proof).

Also, we could wipe the server completely, with a new member list that doesn't have lutra on it AT ALL and then I'll range ban his IP and block his IP via script as well. And have less staff alts now.

wolf assumed it was anti and admined him, then he went /changeauth 4 mysterious kids and left but not before we deauthed Lutra and banned him.

i don't really know how to work that stuff so just delete the accounts or change the passwords to something only you know and I'll change mine later...since apparently someone knows my password? That's odd cause my password really isn't all too obvious but oh wellz.

also pretty sure I registered most of my accounts but eh, do what you have to and i'll come on and fix it up soon. I've been kinda absent lately and might remain that way for awhile so don't sweat it.

Are we going to have Anti banned until he is actually on at PC to change the passwords on all his accs? 'Cause otherwise we have him on the banlist. Lutra, or the guy who came on as "typical steinbeck" we already have banned and I IP checked him. Anti is "typical steinbeck!" with an exclamation mark. :x

we also banned all of the other people that were on at the time and syn said he got back standard scripts, but i'm not sure exactly how that works. rn waiting on you or anti or aura or wolf or luke to come on so we can figure out how to fix everything.
