Ah, never heard of Photobie. GIMP is also free as well. Photoshop just costs $199 if you want the regular version. I got it for 1/2 price with my student discount. :D

I will, though I don't know when. xD Well, the good thing about the earthquake I went through (which was 7.2 on April 4th, 2010) was that my family and I were having an Easter gathering in the middle of nowhere, and there was no buildings, debris or anything in sight. I think we literally dodged a bullet.

Did you make your avatar? GIMP is also a good program, but it doesn't have the "professionalism" like Photoshop has...and the tools I love to use such as the magic wand and the gradient tool. I use A LOT of tools on photoshop. Unfortunately, with my recent Windows 7 partition crapping out on my current laptop, I no longer have Photoshop. :( I'll be going to my friend's house probably tonight so I can retrieve his copy.

Chico, CA is waaaaaaaaaaaaay up north *points up the ceiling*. Well, not "up" there, but in Northern California. Nice theory. I don't think a tornado and an earthquake happening at the same time won't even happen anytime soon. Tornadoes are rare here, but earthquakes are quite common here. I went through a big one just a year ago. Not pretty.

No, I haven't gone storm chasing before. I want to soon. >_> Hopefully when I'm done with school. Yesterday was pretty crazy. There was a reported EF1 tornado in Chico, CA. Some random storm pass through and developed a tornado. It was all over the news yesterday. Who would wonder that California rarely gets tornadoes lately? This is a first for 2011!

I went on pixlr, lowered opacity to about 75% and then saved the image as PNG. Uploaded as an album, and put the "text" part of the secondary and primary content areas as "transparent" as well as block borders. Then I added the url to that image to primary, secondary and block background image parts. And then it just faded through :D
