I've had XP corrupt and crash far more than I've ever had 7 with no service packs corrupt and crash on identical hardware. Driver coding and integration is much better polished for Windows 7 at present, and driver issues do cause most Windows crashes. XP loses all support in June 2014, so I don't think there'll be another version of Windows desktop platform on the market yet at that point. I mean, they don't even have plans for a date for a public beta of the next version of Windows.

You call Windows 7 and Windows Vista "too buggy", yet you use XP, which becomes glitchier faster than either of its successors and shows its age even in a fresh install. What can XP do that 7 and Vista can't other than run ancient programs that are security risks because they are no longer updated?
