  • Ok, sorry I said your type was weak, even though it is... Why am I apologising? well, I am a nice person. (LOLOL VAIN)
Stupid National Weather Service service is saying that we are not going to get any snow, just rain. :(

Note, yes that is the town I live in.
Oh well...I certainly wouldn't know. He was well before my time, and I'm sure Zam was only slightly paying attention =P
Hey Hiido! :333 How've you been? Anything big goin' on in pc lately?

I just applied for a part-time job the other day. I hope they call me back! x_x;;; I needz money lol.
I'd love to! I love sharing the awesomeness of competitive battling to others =P

In a nutshell, it's about balance and prediction. Once you have a solid team with a good mix of offense and defense, it just comes down to knowing what's coming next...That all comes from experience =P
Oh yes, I ended up winning =P...But it was still quite a close match, and for something as prestigious as the PC Wifi tourney, it was a very big deal. I even got my roommate into the action by narrating the whole thing to him, which seemed to help me calm down a bit ^_^
Lol....You should see me in important battles, Mr. Hiide. I'm pretty much a nervous wreck and I have to chew on my stylus just to keep calm. That's how it was during the PC Wifi finals anyway XD
I think there's already a thread about it, so perhaps I'll post there soon ^_^

No sports for Hiide? Haha...I guess they aren't for everyone. I love the competition and camaraderie of team sports though. Which is why I miss hockey so much =(
In media you will find people confused, they might say they hate an idea but it's often times the execution of the idea that they don't enjoy. Pokémon is a great example, if you ask people why they dis-like the anime it's not often they say "the concepts behind the Pokémon and the technology behind the setting". More often than not they don't enjoy: the corny lines, the leading character cast or the child-like level of intelligence displayed, or how the episodes can be formulaic.

So it's not actually the idea behind Pokémon but the execution of the idea it'self that repels them. Which is why I think so much fan fiction is done in one venue or another. They love the basis of an idea, but not the execution so the individual writer or artist is going "this is how I would have done it".

Sorry if I write to much. I have a tendency to blather. XD
Amongst other things new RP'ers are more prone to asking questions than just doing whatever they assume is correct and it's much better for players to ask before taking action in a matter that can be completely disastrous. Particularly over the internet, to make an RP work you really need to be able to communicate with everyone your playing with or it'll end up being half a dozen monologues. XD

Also I write tid-bits for all sorts of subjects, and while many tend to be game-based that doesn't mean you really need to know a huge set of rules for you to think something is a great or abysmal idea. Over a period of years I have covered many, many subjects. I tend to always be able to find atleast a few key elements to most any given genre that are entertaining.
    Thank you very much. <(^_^<) <(^_^)> (>^_^)>

Oh I know, popularity can be absolutely integral to success. It's commonly a matter of building a reputation and persona in the community at large, or at least this can be the case. You are more likely to be noticed, and hence your work has more chance of the same.

Well when you get MSN or if you end up with AIM (also free) definitely tell me. It makes sending images and written material a real snap.

Also being new to RP'ing can be a good thing as you will not be flawed by pre-conceived miss-conceptions which can plague more seasoned RP' ers. It also helps me to determine if I have explained myself in a manner everyone can comprehend (or should be able to, since all directions should be simple and concise and for guides that's very important!).
Ehhh I feel so lazy. I haven't ran in like three weeks =/...Then again I haven't had much time. I do miss hockey though...No more practice after school every day =(
Yeah...I just feel like I've had nothing else to do. Another activity should be good...And I can still check PC every 15 minutes or so for updates. (The power of Alt+Tab cannot be under-estimated XD)
I was playing with my last post, I'm not really durnk, I have had a drink, but drunk, no.

    I'm looking for a new job :/

And the girl in the fic is extremely smart, but she does not see herself that way. She sees herself as a normal person.

Everyone else sees her for what she really is, a genius.

The style of the fis is OT, or Original Trainer, meaning the story is heavily influenced by the amine. But my fic will not be just like the amine, the trainer will get her fillings hurt, and physically hurt, and so will her pokemon.
