  • Hmm...

    I guess I'm gonna have to make it more obvious to people that it's a girl to begin with :P

    Yeah, I might do something like that. Just as long as it doesn't go overboard with stuff. Though knowing you it wouldn't be bad.
    Yeah. I watched the first three seasons on Netflix and idk if Toonami/Adult Swim still plays it. But I like the idea of just getting a DVD or hoping Netflix puts the rest of it up haha.

    Same, though I personally love Short!Ed more than Taller!Ed ngl. Still, it's pretty amazing how they show growth in the series and end it with such a sweet ending and Ed being a dork.
    I'll watch the rest of the anime when I'm able to. I hate watching things on the computer so if anything (when I have money) I might buy the DVDs or something.

    I think my theme makes it blatantly obvious haha.
    Finished first three seasons of Brotherhood (that's all they had on Netflix) and then went ahead and finished the rest of the story by reading the manga.
    Haha. Indeed I am! I've been meaning to get into it for years but didn't get the right push until a few weeks ago.
    Oh thanks, it's definitely more readable this way. ^^;

    1) 'fraid not. :| To both of the questions. I'm enjoying the game, but I really only get to play it like once every two weeks or so. ;; I haven't mentioned how good the soundtrack is. So far though, it has a huge and inspired plot I'm liking a lot, solid gameplay and good blocky low-res textured graphics. (b'')b

    2) I don't have a PS3 either. Just an XBOX 360 and a PS2. But yeah I really plan to play more. :D

    3) She does! Man that takes skill. It's cool how the game rewards how good she is with that.

    4) Once I get a few other games done, I'll check it out. But you're right. Having every aspect balanced makes the whole game more enjoyable.

    5) Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Especially when I get back into playing myself. :P

    6) Aww. :( Hurry up and get one! Or at least we can hope it gets released for the PC. :>

    You're welcome! And yes, I am. I'm happy DmC's looking even better with each trailer and gameplay montage.
    As for the most excitement from E3, Watch Dogs takes the cake.
    //Man yt vids are loading really slowly right now. Dreadful. ;_;

    Yeah, those days mostly had premature 3D graphics so can't help it. Yes, that's exactly what kept me playing. I think I can tolerate bad graphics if I get a good recommendation of a certain game, at least. And if I don't then it's all about the premise that's built up. But yeah, can't see myself skipping now, I do wish I had time in getting to play any game for multiple times.

    Yeah, I just have to find the right pacing for the first game, to complement the tight schedule I haphazardly set myself on. I'm glad I'm getting into the franchise with a few more fantastic games straight after as sequels, too. I'm also absolutely excited to play more. :D

    That looks good. Really good. And it feels like the gameplay in this one offers quite a lot. Just have to say, that guy in the video plays so well.

    Super Meat Boy! Such a hardcore game, although I have played the Meat Boy flash and enjoyed it thoroughly. I can't remember why I never tried playing it, too lazy to check if it's actually available in the systems and consoles we have right now. Back on track, you are quite right to think that way. And admittedly, having both in nice quality gives your game more dimensions and just makes it feel even more fulfilling.

    I really need to search for more of these combo videos. This is where the combat really shines, imo. The vid itself reminds me of some fond memories for DMC3, despite the obvious differences.

    On the topic of DMC, have you bagged a copy of the HD collection yet? I don't know if it's released anywhere yet but I'm curious.

    //Apologies for the sheer length.
    I guess it was a bit of a stretch, hahaha. I don't know, I enjoyed it nonetheless. You do have a point there, it sometimes gets lengthier than it's supposed to. Aye, that feature was a nice thing for them to do, although I can't say I've skipped any so far iirc.

    And with so far, that goes to say I haven't finished it yet. I think I'm still in the earlier parts of the game. But yeah, I get those days too and I hate them. :|

    It depends on the game, but generally I'd go for the gameplay more. I don't know, sometimes the plot doesn't interest me but I still oddly enjoy playing a certain game since it plays so well, and when those two are switched in quality, most of the time I just get frustrated. Not to the point of rage-quitting, but I just like basing game design more on how it plays. There are exceptions, yeah.
    It's interesting you brought that up. I'd like to hear you answer that same question.
    No worries, let's talk a few then maybe I can bring up points I mentioned from that most recent wall of text if I'm not too lazy. Sure because it's absolutely tedious to type them. And yes, I have.

    It was awesome, and I may be exaggerating but it has aged pretty well. Still playable and tense, wonderful atmosphere set-up, too. I'm liking the codec conversations. There is a downside, though, I can't get my own spare time to keep playing. D;
