Well, my dad's family are all kind of jerks who bible-thump constantly and are very angry at me for having gay/trans/bi friends. So D:

I beat her! Went for the liger first, then Arietta. When I was battling her, I accidentally set them to on guard when I was fixing the enemy they would attack so I beat her and drained half the HP of the bird while wondering why they were all just standing there. Derp.

I should probably level up ugh.
That means I have to grind, right? :(

Okay, I'm on the screen. The options are nearby, distant, different, same, weak, strong and help allies. I have everyone set as the same enemy, except for Tear. Do I set her to help allies?

How to I set it so that they attack the same people as I do? I know how to get to the menu, but I don't really understand all of the options.

Before the fight, I should go to the battle menu, and switch Guy for Anise?
Then after that, when the fight starts, I should set it so that Tear goes away from everything, and Jade and Anise attack the same person as me?

GameFAQs says I need the Moon Selector from Miyagi at the Dojo in Baticul. But I'm under the impression I get that after the second god general fight.

I know there's an item tied to it, and I know where to find it, I just don't know where in the actual game to find it.

I can't switch characters.
