  • So, you want a Deoxys? I can also get you one and don't worry, I've Poke Transferred all of my legendary Pokemon, including the one you want, that adds the Deoxys. (by the time you read this, anyway)
I'd be fine with trading for Shiny Pokemon/Event Pokemon...at least the ones I don't have.
Doing a sequel based on storyline of DE is something I've planned of already. This would be a neat thing to do but there's a major problem with the idea; what would be the point of this sequel? I don't know if you have played Final Fantasy X but if you have (and know X-2), you know what I'm talking about. Final Fantasy X was a great game loved by lots of players so game makers decided to do X-2, a version based off it. That one is okay I think but is lacking the epicness X had because the "threat" of the world is gone already.

Dark Energy is too going to end in a point with "no way" to continue from there, even if the sequel was based on several decades in the future with a new main hero to play with. I don't think I want to say more because if I do explain this properly, I'm eventually going to have to reveal you what happens in DE.

Once I get Dark Energy finished (and if there are lots of fans wanting to see a sequel to it), I'll think about making one. Yet it is still very difficult to plan another great game based on an existing one.
Yeah, a four for four would be awesome!! I don't like to clone, frankly just because I'm too lazy to put my AR in, so you can have the one - and - only versions of them. :)
Is now a good time to trade?

Then you're literally gonna love DE. It's filled with side-quests; ones related to the storyline and ones who don't have anything to do with it.

I'll very likely quit rom hacking once I'm done with this project. Reason? I'm already 21 and can imagine living like any other normal adult in near future. Putting up a family and that kind of stuff.

If I do continue after DE is finished, I could continue with Emerald if I didn't have to make maps on my own at all - I "hate" mapping with 3rd gen mapping engine, it takes just way too much time to make a good looking map, especially if you're not familiar with the border blocks to use in different occasions like I'm not.

There are also other options though, I might go with a hack of a Final Fantasy game instead. But I do think I'm going to quit, I'd be hanging around in the forums giving others advice but starting another major overhaul of a game, not a good idea.

Also, such a hack that would remake Dark Energy in the future cannot be done, or it would have to have a completely different storyline (there is no "champion" battle in the game, or "secret trainer" like Red in Mt. Silver). Besides from that, some of the important (storyline-related) asm scripts are difficult to make based on GBA's engine so that's another reason why I wouldn't want to remake it based on Emerald.
The hack itself doesn't need a remake; it will stand out from the rest on its own ;)
Well, I can't say whether it will make sense at that time either but what I can say that you probably won't even paying attention to it - most of the time, you've something else related to the events of the game in mind ;)
Yes, that would be perfect! I don't care about it being cloned or anything, so, yes, that'd be awesome! :D I mostly want it for personal use, so I could care less if it's legit or whatever.
    Thanks a bunch!
And, uh, I have some shinies other than the Golduck and Meinfoo. I recently acquired a Shiny Braviary w/ Defiant after much SRing, and also a shiny mincinno. Which one of these would you want in return for your Eevee?
I'll rather post here as VM instead of continuing that discussion in the thread. Anyway, Granaldo City is only connected to another area through a place called Underground Tunnel. But that isn't a cave actually; more like a basement and is part of the city too. You do run into wild pokemon there too but they're mostly Koffings, Grimers and of that kind.
The cave in the northern part of the city doesn't lead anywhere but having an entrance there straight from the city makes a lot of sense too, considering the events going on in there.

Overall, the main focus in the hack isn't mapping although I do try my best to make them realistic as possible.
ooo. id do the same thing but i only have one NDS. its always a hassle to switch through my games, especially when im easily bored through playing them. id always get bored whenever i play only for afew minutes..
awesome! you sure put in alot of effort and time to accomplish the full dex! i could never do that for Im always.. procrastinating. wish i had the will power to do what youre doing now haha. I think id get on to it once I get my hand on a White 2 game.
hm wow thats alot of work. i did the same thing but for my soul silver earlier the year. but its worth it in the end. i can help you in gen 4 but gen 5, i can barely do a thing. though i have one ds, so i cant transfer them :(

if you need any help in gen 4 ill sure help you out no doubt. i just beat the normal gym and heading through pinwheel forest right now. and gothitha is level 16 right now, great addition to the team. sure thing, ill continue my journey then
Yeah thats true but traded pokes level faster, which I find useful. Im currently at Nacrene City and my team around 17-18. Im training a Throh to beat the Normal Gym leader too.

Hmm sure! I dont want to take your time or anything though. if its okay with you, then its okay with me man :)
