Yea I always used Staraptor or Crobat as my flying mon. Is Honchkrow a choice or is that D/P only?

I'll just catch a Tangela for that then. If grass were a biggie then I'd use Tangrowth but seems they're not that leaves lots of Pokemon for me to choose.

Infernape, Vaporeon, Gardevoir, Garchomp (if i go through with it)

That's the issue I'm running into is finding a water mon with higher Sp. Atk. Vaporeon would be the best choice for me cos it's got 110 base Sp. Atk or somethin like that so Ice Beam would be stronger than lots of water types, but then I wouldn't know what to use for a Grass mon. I don't think grass are a big issue or are they? I've never went without a grass mon in any game.

Idk. I need Surf to get Tentacool anyways so he's kinda out. I'm about to say screw it and just get Floatzel.

This game really lacks water types if you don't choose Empoleon. I always chose him and caught me a Houndour, but finding a water to replace Empoleon I realize there isn't a lot. I could go all noob and get Gyarados, the only problem is that Surf will suck cos his Sp. Atk is really low. Is Tentacruel any good? I've never used him.

I've used Golduck before, I thought he was pretty good. Kinda wish he was psychic/water type tho. For the longest time I thought he shared types but found out he was only water. I've never seen one but is it possible to get Mantine?

That Gardevoir is Emerald all over again. That's a good idea for Thunderbolt, I completely forgot about that. That's what I did in Emerald. Calm Mind/Thunderbolt was killer. I think I'm gonna do that again. I've never used Quagsire so I might give it a go. It's ground type will be useful until I get Garchomp.
