I made an awesome series of Haiku poems, i hope i followed the format right ^_^
The Daytona 500
The Start
The green flag waves overhead
Forty three beasts pour through the tri-oval
One missed shift means disaster
The Rules
Draft only the front runners
Stay in line and position is held
Dart out and go backwards
The Rival
Bump from behind: bump draft
In the center of the turn two
The wheels loose grip: loose!
The Wall
Spinning wildly out of control
Hot pavement and, squealing rubber meet again
Cut left inches from wreck
The Herd
The blur of flying colors
Forty two cars pour by up high
Their engines dim out yours
The Limp
Two rear tires are flat
Bring her around as slowly as possible
Don't shred up those fenders
The Departure
Watch that speed limit: 55
Slow her down, woe her up now
Watch it, watch it now
The Stop
Go around to the right
Four tires and fuel all the way
Drop it, Go! Go! Go!
The Return
Pull up to the rear
The field lines up single file now
The green is back out
The Ally
Don't lose that drafting buddy
Stay on his tail and push him
Keep the nose tucked in
The Dance
Serpentine, pull your line along
Keep high as the draft propels you
The vacuum pulls you forward
The Show
Side by side, three wide
Door to door, only inches of separation
They touch, they touch again!
The Pass
Three, two, one, you're clear
Cut down to the inside of rivals
Don't clip your own rear
The Closer
White flag, the last lap
Hold them off for one more buddy
Think you're up to it?
The Assault
Bump, bump, slam, slam draft
Hold on to the wheel with vigilance
The rear end is caving
The Break
Slam, squeal, slam, and whoosh
The rear spoiler looses it's down force
Luckily it is not you
The Wreck
Crunching sheet metal and steel
Cars scatter which way avoiding each other
The "Big One" devours most
The Win
He comes off turn four
With a dominating performance all day long
He wins the Daytona 500
The Celebration
Smoke fills the cockpit again
Only this time it's a good sign
The doughnuts cloud the stands
