I will most certainly be coming to PC more from now on. I definitely won't be "active", but I can at least respond to messages and send them when need be.
Also, you ARE great and you WILL be accepting gifts from Jo and I this year. Being flat broke is good when you're a dedicated student like yourself, so don't worry about it. Trust me, I'm not nearly selfless enough to give things I need myself.
I'm pretty sure the brand of pens used in most schools in India is "Airmail". They're decent pens, but are literally as cheap as can be. There are some fantastic Indian manufacturers like Ranga and Diplomat, but their pens can be expensive. Instead, I'm getting you a TWSBI 580 in Rose Gold with a Medium nib and a bottle of Noodler's Bulletproof Black ink. I personally use both that pen and ink on a near daily basis and have been nothing but happy with them, so I bet you'll like them both in one way or another.
Honestly, even if you never use the pen it'll be the sort of thing you can just have and look at occasionally. Think of it as a utilitarian object that no longer has a purpose in this world (that's what I do!).
If you do ever decide to use it, I'll be able to teach you anything you could ever want to know, even from ~5,000 miles away. Also, YouTube is all-knowing, so there's nothing to worry about there. I'm not 100% sure how to go about shipping things to India and such, but I'm sure it can't be much harder than doing the same with Japan and China. Most of the yoyos I've bought recently have come directly from Japan and their postal system is very complicated (mostly because I can't read Japanese). Jo and I figured it out, though, and everything worked out fine. If there's going to be any postal drama, we'll figure it out before we send anything so you won't have to deal with it on your end.
Bottom Line: You're pretty damn great. Thank you for being such a great friend to me and Jo. Accept our gifts and keep being great!!!
