So if I looked at the bank properties of Ilex Forest and the spriteset...it does not match up whatsoever with the sprites that are actually on the map. The map header script is 00 00
A third question. I have a great script going using Kurt's Daughter to make my own Celebi event. I have her making a ball (Currently master ball since premier ball isn't programmed in Gold). Anyway it works great except I can't figure out how to make her wait a day. I saw Kurt's script use Flags 00 00 and 4F 00 but neither of them work. 00 00 resets when the map does but not for Kurt some reason. 4F 00 has a better effect because it stops Kurt's offering to make Balls but doesn't reset after a day. I cannot figure out what flag resets after a day.
A second quick question is that adding a trigger in JohtoMap does not appear to correctly change the map header/add it into the right table? So I'll have to manually do more work on that?
So this is weird. I have the Zapdos sprite correct (#78). I changed in bank properties to access it. Well for Articuno/Moltres I did the same thing and on the JohtoMap image it shows as the correct sprite...in the game it shows the player sprite. Everything else works fine except the sprite.
It worked and as I posted my script works perfectly too! It won't show Zapdos until a certain flag is set and it won't show him again if you've fought him and reload the map :)

Also is it possible to have HM abilities always be usable, for instance maybe it checks for an item in your inventory rather than a pokemons move? I hate teaching my team HMs
Hey Miksy! You started helping me on my Skeetendo thread with scripting Zapdos to appear and disappear. I took an honest try at it for a couple hours fiddling with different things as I responded. It's been awhile now, can you please follow up?
Yeah, just use the disassembly addresses as references. If what you find at the address matches up, you've got the right place to make your pointers point to, then, obviously, do you ASM stuff bearing in mind what you learnt from the disassembly :)

It is the first GB/C hack I played till the end(I said hack.I love the Original ones too.:))I got upset when the Guard won't let me go past him.I could not sleep that night peacefully...I completed DE in 2 days.:(
