I am not really that big a fan of Elgyem, but with this pics... Aarrgh! It is too cute and that expression pic is just plain awesome. Is this your artworks?

Hmm... Might try using a Beeheeyem for my next Black run.

I'm a big fan of Elgyem too. That thing is so adorable! It's my third in my favorite pokemon list, so I agree...it's the cutest I ever saw. :3 It has pretty good stats, and I love it's cry. Beheeyem is cute to me, not many may agree though. It helped me get through the final gyms, and all of the Elite, pretty easy. Only thing I have to watch out for is Dark types, and other weaknesses.

I found these pics on DeviantArt.

I was planning on using a Beheeyem when I was playing Black but I already had a Gothitelle with me at that point.

I do have a Beheeyem in the PC though, along with lots of Elgyem that I use their Synchronize to track down Pokemon with particular natures.

Even Marriland uses an Elgyem (now a Beheeyem) nicknamed "Wylia" in his "Pokemon White Adventure" videos which you can see on his website - pokemon.marriland.com

I'm not also a big fan of marriland. I like the killer nacho's vids and Xerxes vids better.

That's it. i will be realy training an Elgyem during my next run. *which may happen early june next year!* LOL.

Solosis is so adorable and bouncy, its final evo Reuniclus is awesome!

There are lots of "cute" Psychic-type Pokemon out there as well as tough-looking ones.

Psychic is one of my fave types cos most of my fave Pokemon are Psychic-type plus most Psychic Pokemon have diverse movepools.

Thanks for the welcomes, y'all. Now Imma get on to my first topic.

Who was your first psychic type Pokémon?
This made me think back to the very first game I played which was LeafGreen. it was Drowzee which evolved into Hypno. It helped me a lot throughout my journey, especially when catching Pokemon. Hypnosis+Dream Eater is one of the most coolest move combos you can pull in-game and Drowzee learns both. It also wields a good disabling spell to stun that nuisance or yours-to-be. Oh and I remember, mine had Poison Gas for a while, how cool is that? Drowzee's another example of how Psychic types are extraordinary. :)

Ermm, good question! I think mine was an Abra waayyy back in Gen 1... After seeing how cool Sabrina's Kadabra was, I thought Abra was the coolest thing ever! So I trained one <3 I guess it's that ^^

Now for the real topic:
- Do you think that Psycho Boost, the most powerful psychic type move, should be learnt by other psychic types other than Deoxys? Why or why not?
 
I don't think Arceus should be considered as a psychic type. It's true that when it has the mind plate it's treated as psychic but it can also be treated as different types as well, so I think that alone would put it in a different category from all other types of pokemon.

In answer to the second question no, I don't think Psycho Boost should be able to be learned by other psychics given that it's Deoxys' signature move. The legendaries should be allowed to have their own special move that no other pokemon knows, that's what makes them a signature.

No. it is the creator, and therefore he must be neutral, and what will the mind plate serve if he is already part psychic. Normal fits him perfectly, and if he is ever made a psychic type, arceus would lose part of his usability, barring mind plate as just a move booster, instead of the godly ability to change Arceus' type.

I have never heard of Psycho boost, but if it is the strongest one, I am in complete disagreement of having the other types learn it. There is a reason why deoxys is the only one that could learn it. If ever the other Pokemon could learn it, Psycho Boost would just be another, albeit a strong one Psychic type attack.

Arceus or not, I don't mind really. Even though I see him as a Normal type more than anything, if that were the case, we would see him in every single club, but that's not what everybody's doing. I lean more into the no side for this one...

As for Deoxys[favorite pokemon], no. Psycho Boost is a very handy move and powerful, and seems to be a signature move for him. If others learned it, they may become very powerful and overrated to be honest. It's like Zoroark's Night Daze. If any other dark types would be able to learn the move, they would all be as deadly....and both Deoxys and Zoroark would have no good signature move people would get them for, since it wouldn't exist by then.

For my case, I think Arceus should be on that list. It can learn some Psychic-type moves naturally (Cosmic Power, Future Sight, Gravity). So I think it does have the potential to be a Psychic-type. But really, I don't mind either way. \o/

Like the others had said, it's a signature move for a legendary and so I wouldn't want to touch that.
