Alrighty, sounds good. A simple repost should suffice, along with any edits you want in. Other than that, I think we may start soon, and as more people sign up, they will come into the RP at given points.

I hope this meets with your approval. If there are any problems or discrepancies, please let me know.

Name: Gaston Ceruleus

Age: 25

Gender: male

Element: Fire

Appearance: Gaston stands at 6' 2" tall, is very fit with a slight muscular build. He has long black hair down to his shoulders, green eyes, and wears a mask to cover his forehead and cheeks. The mask is colored red and black and his clothing reflect that color scheme as well. He wears a sleeveless shirt, black pants, black boots, and wears two wristbands, one on each arm. One has a symbol of a sword and the other has a symbol of a bow and arrow.

Personality: Gaston is very closed off to the world at first. Through the work of his only friend, Thoromir, his disposition has improved some, though he had never been tested in a group of people. He seems very melancholy, but his mission in life is to pay back Diaz for what he did to him, his village, and his life. Any orders given to him will be followed to the letter for fear of not being let back into the group. He will lay down his life for whoever he's around, determined to not let the same mistakes happen again, which he believes to be his fault.

Hometown: Originally from the village of Celino, but since staying with Thoromir just outside of Autican City.

History: Gaston grew up in Celino, a small farming village far from normal cities. Since Celino was far from other towns, it became an expedition of sorts to go and gather supplies for them to use. His father taught him the importance of hard work and how to take pride in your accomplishments. He grew up and quickly took over the family farm himself since his father grew too old to help in the fields. Everything was peaceful and calm and there were even rumors of Gaston soon being able to take a wife! Yes, it was a wonderful place...until the war came through their home.

Diaz and his men stormed through their village at night and started slaughtering everyone in sight, the talk of spies and assassins spewing from their lips as they passed. Gaston, at the behest of his father, hid inside the house while his father went out to meet them, which ended in him being horribly slain. Soon after, the soldiers started burning down their homes. Gaston didn't know of the fires until the flames engulfed his home. He tried to get out, but the flames grew too fast and had him trapped. Before he knew it, the house started to collapse, trapping him inside as the flames scarred his face permanently. Before long, though, he burrowed his way out and tried to run away. However, he ran into a powerful mage who was under Diaz's thumb. The mage, though, had very little mana left to use a death spell or something of that nature, so he resorted to a curse of silence. It hit Gaston in the back and rendered him incapable of speech until another mage of same skill level or higher to break the curse. The mage, not having enough energy for a fight, sent a small group of soldiers to attack him. Gaston quickly took refuge in a nearby forest until the soldiers were called back to Diaz's side. It was morning before Gaston went back to the remains of Celino. He was sorrowful of the devastation that was right in front of him. He felt, though, that it was his responsibility to repair what he could...

Three days later, a mage named Thoromir came to Celino to see what Diaz had done. As he approached, Gaston came forward with a pitchfork in hand, ready to fight whoever this was. After introducing himself, he had a very one-sided conversation with Gaston about what had happened. Soon Thoromir had realized that he couldn't speak. He tried to nullify or dispel the curse, but to no avail. The mage pulled out a slip of parchment and handed it to Gaston, saying that it would write out whatever he wanted to say for others to understand. Overjoyed about finally being able to communicate, at least, Gaston was more friendly and accommodating to the man. Soon, Thoromir invited Gaston to stay with him at his house, which he readily agreed.

For three years, Gaston stayed with Thoromir and learned more about magic and combat, primarily wanting to exact vengeance on Diaz for what he did to his home. Soon, he found that he could create a powerful burst of flame that damaged its target and those close to it. Thoromir helped Gaston control his new-found magic skills, but he knew it wouldn't be enough to fight Diaz. Thoromir created and enchanted a pair of wristbands that would summon a flaming katana sword and a fiery bow that could shoot magically-created fire arrows. Accepting these gifts, Gaston would soon be ready to find and eliminate Diaz and his minions...once and for all!

Weapon: He has no physical weapons on his person, but his wristbands allow him to summon two specially-created weapons which doesn't tap into his own mana reserve. The wristbands can only be activated by an overabundance of body heat, usually only produced by Gaston himself. The sword wristband calls forth an enchanted katana sword of flames that doesn't break or dull. The sword delivers not only normal damage but a little extra due to the flames. As it gets stronger, the physical damage will improve, but the elemental damage will improve only half as fast.

The bow and arrow wristband produces a bow made entirely of flames and will damage anyone that touches it besides the holder. Pulling the string back will create a flaming arrow that causes physical damage as well as elemental damage. Since the arrows are magic-based, they can be fired quicker than normal arrows, but still only one can be fired per turn. The arrows disappear upon contact and cannot be misdirected by natural means (wind, rain, etc.). As it gets stronger, accuracy will increase until the bow reaches maximum distance (150 yards) and then can produce multi-shots (5 maximum). Elemental damage will steadily grow, as well as physical damage at the same rates as the sword.

Note: If either weapon is disarmed from him, it will dissipate within 10 seconds to return to its wristband. If anyone else tries to pick up his weapons, it will cause fire damage to the would-be thief.

Magic: Flame Burst (Fire) Similar to Pokemon move of same name. A fireball explodes on contact, damaging other foes next to target.

Other: Gaston carries the parchment around with him at all times to use for communication. Its quicker than writing, but it does get cumbersome in a battle situation so he won't use it.

Name: Asilsa Driesse Age: 21 Gender: Female

Element: Lightning

Theme Music: Dawn Brigade

Appearance:
Spoiler:

Personality: The easiest way to describe Asilsa is with two words; fighter and romantic. She's strong and determined never backing down from a fight. She'll take on an opponent much stronger than she is if it will keep others safe. For to her nothing is more important than the safety of others. She is a leader, good at devising strategies and plans and picking out others strengths and weaknesses. Asilsa has a strong wish to get revenge for her father and will stop at nothing to get it. As for her own weakness that is simple. Due to her romantic nature she has dreams like other girls of a knight in shining armor sweeping her off her feet. She isn't a flirt at all but if someone flirts with her she will easily fall for their charms. She's a true sucker for a sweet and romantic guy.

Hometown: Aldhurst Village, Kale.

History: Asilsa was born and raised in Aldhurst Village in Kale. A small village a days journey from mountains North-West of Kale. Growing up Asilsa spent most of her days with her only living parent her father; Cain. Her mother Iseri died of a fever a few years after Asilsa was born. Her father was a blacksmith specializing in making and repairing swords and other weapons. When the civil war started the Driesse family managed to stay out of it at first. Life continued as normal for them. Cain would work in his blacksmiths shop with Asilsa helping him on some days. The days she wasn't helping her father Asilsa spent them eaither reading fairy-tales or studying books on lightning magic that were left to her by her mother. When she turned 21 Asilsa was gifted a rapier by her father and she named the sword Myrtenaster. Her training continued in both her sword and magic and she was okay, inexperienced she still made mistakes many times and wasn't that strong. But with practice she would get there.

But then things changed. One day while helping her father in his shop some of Diaz's men showed up. They accused her father of helping some of the rebels. Asilsa had no idea if it was true or not but she protested and was struck by one of the men. Once this happened her father admitted to his crime begging them not to hurt her. Asilsa was forced to watch as instead of taking him to prison. Diaz's men hung her father in the center of the village. This was the last straw in her mind, without thinking she tried to attack the men. They easily defeated her and she unlike her father was sentenced to Galvez Prison.

Weapon: A Rapier she calls Myrtenaster. (it is seen in her appearance pic)

Magic:
1. Lightning Bolt: A single bolt of lightning called down from the sky at her enemy. (lightning)
2. Static Shield: A shield of static electricity that forms around her. (lightning)
3. Shadow Bolt: A single bolt of dark energy called from the shadows. (Dark)

Bustin' this baby out again! I love this character.

Name: Kallet Genesis, also known as "The Ghost"

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Element: Wind

Theme: Final Fantasy Preludes

Appearance: Kallet is a slender, but tall man, standing at 6'7, and weighing around 170 pounds. He is very thin, and doesn't contain much physical strength, preferring to rely on his stealth and speed to win a battle. Genesis has very pale skin, which in fact borders on ghostly, due to a very rare disease unknown to the world. It has a strange effect on his eyes, as well, leaving them blood red. His face fits in with the rest of his body, and is in fact quite slender. His perfectly straight hair frames his face quite well, and is white, much like snow, another result of the disease. It's quite long, hanging down to his shoulders. He would keep it tied in a ponytail, but he takes pride in it. Kallet is the only one to have ever caught his disease, and he views that makes him special. Not necessarily better than anyone. Just special. His normal apparel consists of black leather pants that hug his slender legs tightly, as well as a black, sleeveless tunic. He wears a black, but hoodless, cloak over his tunic, that hangs down around his ankles. It has a single pair of the strings at the top that can be used to secure it to his body. For shoes he wears black combat boots that extend to just below his knee. When combined with his black apparel, his skin and eyes give him the appearance of a ghost, and he has been given this nickname for that very purpose.

Personality: Kallet is very reserved. He tends to shy away from society whenever possible, and absolutely loathes interaction. He isn't afraid of anything, but he believes that people do not want him around because of his disease. He is very quiet, and will only speak unless spoken to first. His heart is one that's been scarred by many years of torment and harassment, so he doesn't form bonds very well. Genesis will shut people out, no matter how hard they try, until they completely earn his trust, quite an impossible task. He isn't afraid to admit he's a loner, but he yearns to fit in. Anywhere he can. He longs desperately for company, although he won't admit it. Once you earn his trust and friendship, however, he will fight to protect you to the very end, to his last fleeting breath. His quiet, smooth voice tends to add to his shy personality. Kallet is very intelligent and normally has a plan that would work almost flawlessly, but he won't share it unless any of his companions would care to ask. He's a strong believer in non-violent solutions, but will fight brutally and efficiently if the situation calls for it. Kallet is almost fearless, facing most foes with as much heroism as he could possibly muster, although he won't hesitate to slink away from a fight if it seems hopeless. He believes that one day he will be accepted in society, and that heroes can come from the most unlikely places. Everyone has a chance to become a hero...Even a Ghost.

Hometown: Unknown to anyone. Even Kallet himself.

History: Kallet, as far as he knows, is an orphan raised in a city named Jubilee, just north of Grandora. The town was quite peaceful, and Kallet lived a relatively normal childhood, despite all of the terrible things kids called him. "Freak!" "Monster!" "Spook!" These words still haunt him to this day. Everything was relatively good for him, until Diaz's forces came to the city. They began to 'recruit' all able-bodied men to fight in his magesty's army. It was then that Kallet was taken at the age of sixteen. He began to weep and resisted, simply stating, "I don't believe in fighting!" Over and over again. All of the soldiers merely laughed in his face, and began to taunt him. "Freak!" "Monster!" "Spook!" The same names from his childhood. It was then that Kallet realized that the world is a dark and cruel place. And it was then that Kallet vowed that he would create a glimmer of light, to shine through the darkness, and perhaps even break it. For the next five years, he was forced to serve in the army, to do horrible things. Every night before he went to sleep he would curse himself for the attrocities he was made to commit. However, he met an interesting man by the name of Eagun during a siege of B'Lectar. But the thing was, Eagun was on the other side. Kallet clashed with the soldier, both evenly matched. They eventually collapsed, one's back to the other. They began to have a conversation, and even struck up a friendship. It was short-lived, however, and an arrow caught Eagun in the chest. With his last breaths, he bestowed his two blades upon Kallet. There names? Freedom and Glory. It was then that Kallet realized that he would bring light into the world. That he would sacrifice himself to do so. That he would leave the army. For the next two years, he wandered about taking any job that would pay well enough, such as a horse-groomer, or even a mercenary for a small period of time. He knew nothing about the road he was taking, but surely enough it would take him to destiny.

Weapon: (Since I can't go for the Buster Blade-esque :p Haha) Two curved swords, both very special to him made of Durrinium, a material slightly stronger than steel, one sheathed at each hip. Each blade has an intricate crossguard, the left, named Freedom, has the spread wings of a eagle for the crossguard. The right, named Glory, has a dragon's spread wings for its crossguard. He usually dual wields them. Kallet has used a gun before, as well as a bow, but he prefers his trusty blades.

Magic:
Gone with the wind: Kallet uses the wind to speed his feet, making him run at extreme speeds. Using this makes him seem to vanish, as if he merged into the wind.

Demon Wind: A strange essence (wind) flows through his blood system, speeding his movements up three times the normal human speed, causing his swordsmanship to increase drastically.

RP Sample: (Optional. It helps me know how skilled you are, and if you are suitable for the RP.)

Other: Kallet loves music with a passion, and is quite the beautiful singer himself, although he hates doing it in front of people. Another strange love of his is the love of the stars. He spends countless hours staring at them during the night.

Just an update, the IC thread has been posted. Now just some basic instructions on what to do as your first post (which is more or less the same as before).

So, our characters are are en-route to the prison, so a post on what is going should suffice. You don't need to do some background post with events prior to what happened to your character before getting captured. Feel free to talk a little and whatnot, but if your character isn't that talkative, then they can wait until we reach the prison.

Nadia 1.2 is in da house folks! :D
Some small changes here and there. Most typos were corrected. Spells were further detailed upon. There is actually an appearance in text now!
History remains as is. I still gotta check it for typos.
Other than that, it might be done by now! :3

Name: Nadia Ulrica Navarette
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Element: Light

Appearance: Nadia is a girl of a not-so-outstanding complexion, with a mere five feet of height and a modest hundred fifteen pounds of weight. Her skin tone is a very peachy one, and amongst her skin the only things that could draw attention are her hair and eyes. The former being originally a deep black, but then dyed a sparkling silver somewhere around the age of eighteen, it is also very long, reaching her waist when it isn't victim of any hair treatments. Or without them, for that matter. As for the latter, her eyes are naturally the color of chestnuts, somewhat over-the-average size, but round nonetheless.

In what her face respects, it is of a roundish shape, slowly pronouncing to a small chin in the lower part. Other than that, no particular traits stand out here either, except for her very small mouth and nose. Alas, people mostly notice her soft, peachy skin faster than they notice her face.

As for her clothing, it is certainly not very... conventional, and also conveys a small, subtle burlesque feeling around her chest. Her "dress" (if it's actually worth being called like that) is made with soft silk, and was actually hand-made for her. As such, its cost was reasonable, but she still managed to acquire it. It consists of this of one main piece of clothing that goes all the way from her waist and extends all the way to her knees as if it was a skirt of sorts. It is tied around her waist, and over an under-piece that goes from her upper chest down until it's somewhat close to the knees. This piece that goes under the previous one is black, of course. However, and as questionable as she might look like this, she does in fact wear a small jacket of equally silky materials that can be buttoned around her chest. It also has very long sleeves that end in puffy prolongations of a black color Finally, her legs are protected by stockings of considerable length, and her feet are encased in simple, white, mildly heeled shoe.

Lastly, her sword, as you can tell, is almost as tall as she is, standing at a mighty four and a half feet. I don't know how she's able to carry that thing around, but she does. Alas, it's not like she's very adept at using it~

Personality: It should first be noted that, when dealing with Nadia, one is dealing with a a very courteous person. Her lexicon is certainly not the most extensive one you'll hear spoken, but her manners are high and well-defined in spite of her farmer heritage. Farmers aren't a bunch of rascals who can only pronounce five different words, y'know?

More than frequently she'll be willing to take risks. Although most of the time it's for fun, or she just had no time to consider it fully. This does, in fact, involve that she's very impulsive and doesn't really wait on people for long. It also conveys that she acts in the moment, and dedicates few to no time to consider her actions.

Her bravery is both a mix of high-curiosity and moderate ambition. More than once she'll deeply examine her surroundings and will also be in a constant lookout for treasure and pretty much whatever can make her life better and easier, no matter how hard and/or expensive it turns out to be.

Most of the time she is calm and collected, and is rarely seen to loose her tempo with anyone. This goes to say that she's quite the patient folk and can stand a lot of crap from others. Be careful though, once her glass is full of your bullcrap, you will regret ever being mean to her in your entire life.

Usually nurturing, and also a fan of young people and kids -especially if they look cute-. If you're young and beautiful (like the Lana del Rey song) then you might want to stay away from her, otherwise you will receive a kjillion hugs and smooches on your cheek until the very day you die, assuming said hugs won't do it for you.

She is usually honest with her comments, but tries to keep them from becoming mean and/or sarcastic. You can trust on her for pretty much anything, but if she notices you're doing something that can be considered to be wrong, then she'll mercilessly stab you with her knife of traitor over and over again until you start bleeding distrust. However, if she can see the good in you, then you have made a very good friend, and a very loyal at honest friendship.

She hates making physical contact with people she doesn't know from heart, albeit the one exception to this rule is towards some younger folks. So, please, don't be an adult stranger that hugs her, or else you'll pay a very hard prize for it. And even if she's not the #1 of the Harlem Globe-Throting Huggers, she can be very sappy and cheesy if she puts her mind on it. Yup, pink hearts and princesses and prince charming and some other stuff of the like could spring up out of the blue if she ever gets infatuated. She never really reaches a flirty stage, tho. That is definitely a no-go for her.

She is usually sympathetic of others, but she's not altruist nor is she fond of helping random strangers out - again, with an exception for kids -. She, however, can be easily talked into doing stuff. And one trait that should be rescued from her persona as a whole is her pessimistic nature. She can literally see how crappy anything can be and how life is unfair and whatnot.

Her curious nature is swiftly complimented by her ver analytic behavior when it comes to looking around for stuff, but not for planning courses of action. She is not really the talking-kind of girl, so if you talk to her, then either she makes a very short reply, runs away, or both. And finally, when she's not bursting with rage, she is quite calm in the emotional department.

Hometown: Whitedell Village, Salos.

History: Whitedell is far from being special. It is just a nice town with few houses vastly separate one another. There are nice people and farmers around, and it is just your regular small town to live.

Nadia was born to a couple of farmers, and as such, from a very young age, she interacted with several small animals, feeding them, and being derpy with them from time to time. By age 8, this little girl was already an adept in the arts of farm-care. She was always eager to accompany her mother and father to sell their milk around town. Whitedell being fairly small, there were but a few merchants, and a such, everyone knew who it was that would sell them tasty milk for a small price. Yup, Jonia and Derrick Navarette. Their cows will produce the best milk you will ever have.

Along came a wave of crime to the town. Cows were stolen, people were mugged. It was unsafe to go out at night, and it was even more dangerous to exit town due to the exceeding amounts of people robbing after the war struck the country. The Navarette couldn't stay at home for long, tho, they needed the money for their milk...

And so, one day, as they ran their errands. Jonia, Nadia and Derrick ran into an older man wielding a knife, who threatened them to hand over the milk they would deliver. Derrick refused, and in exchange the burglar's knife was buried deep within his chest, and as it just so happens it hit the right spot to immediately kill Derrick Navarette on the spot. Scared, the burglar made his escapade as he left a shattered now-single-mother and her child crying over the death of the man of the family.

Soon after, Nadia had to rise and step up up to the spot of (wo)man of the family, assuming a full time job at the family farm, and also deciding to do some training with a sword that she made of simple wood should another burglar arise. And they did, first she was mugged and barely managed to escape, but she eventually learned to defend herself and prevent any further loss of money. It was hard, but someone had to do it. And they needed the money even more once Jonia Navarette went very ill and desperately needed medicine.

At 21, just a year ago, her mother also passed away, of the disease she had that couldn't allow her to leave bed. And since Nadia was now adept at using a sword of... considerable size she managed to buy (at a very high prize), she decided to let go of the farm, sell the animals and meals that it produced one last time, and with the money from it, she began to make his way towards a town near the Galvaez prison. Not because of the prison, but because if was the closest town to Whitedell Village.

Weapon: Sole de Lunæ. Also goes by "that Big Ass Sword over there". Crafted with precious minerals, metals, materials and souls of the land (or very decent imitations of them, at least, without the souls, of course). This weapon of questionable value, being the sword that it is, is pointy and very deadly. It can barely be wielded by this girl without just... killing everyone and everything around. But it does get the job done... sometimes. Should she ever become strong enough, then her light magic could strengthen her blade, but it's not like it's gonna happen, yes? Of course it won't, you silly reader, you!

Magic:
  • Bestow de Health. A slight layer of light envelops her left arm, and she becomes capable of releasing light waves from the palm of her hand. They are not particularly fast, or big, for that matter. But said waves can heal one's wounds. They, however, take longer and longer the more serious the injury. A minor bruise can be healed in 5 minutes or less, given the wave can cover the entire injured area. More serious injuries take much longer, and it is not ensure that one might heal fast enough and not die, so... yeah... Blame the small size for that~
  • Barrera de Lumiera A thick veil of light envelops her figure as a white surge of light forms in form of here, shaped like a circular shield of sorts. The diameter of said shield depends on the focus and experience of the user. This shield is somewhat resistant, always according to how experienced she is with this spell. The more experienced, the harder it'll be to break thru the shield, but since she hasn't practiced this one well enough, if at all, her shields are very weak and easy to break.
  • Lumine Figurae. Stretching both her arms high in the air, then facing to wherever she wants this spell to hit. Several small figures of light from around the palm of her hands and are shot at decent speed towards their target. The size, damage and speed of these shapes all depend on how experienced the user is, and all vary different one another if she's focusing well enough.

RP Sample: This and this. They were originally intended to be a 4000+ word post, and that's why I count them as only one. Also, I haven't really posted here ever since, so... Yeah, these are still my most recent posts for an RP I'm not GMing xD But in case you wanted to read what happened after for Alaric and Tobias, then go here as well!

Other: None that I can think of~

@CDChaser: You are almost there, but I have a few things I need you to change. Firstly, it seems like your character is dressed a little to modern for the RP. I don't think jeans would be an appropriate clothing item to wear. Secondly, the personality is fine, but for the history just take out the part about her seeing a dragon. Dragons are extinct.

@CDChaser: Alrighty, you are now accepted.

@Siiadams: It's a pretty good first post. Not too long, but gives something to write about.

Also note, we'll get to the prison quickly once everyone who wants to post has posted.
