  • Could I reserve the Poison Kingdom? :3

    Name: Suniku

    Age: 24

    Gender: Female

    Kingdom: Poison

    Gijinka: Venusaur

    Ability: Chlorophyll

    Appearance:
    Spoiler:

Suniku's mess of hair is a lush green color, with two brown locks the color of dead leaves hanging on either side of her face. Venusaur ears protrude from her had in the place of human hears. Her eyes are a bright auburn that is quite nearly red. Her eyebrows are small and the same green as her hair, and there are two green spots on each of her cheeks.

With a flat chest and build that's more masculine than feminine, Suniku is often mistaken as a man. She gets incredibly irritated whenever someone refers to her as a male, though she doesn't really help matters by cutting her hair short. Besides having broad shoulders and a well muscled body, her hands are also larger than a typical woman's. Add in her height of 5'11", and she doesn't look the least bit like a petite little lady should.

A large pink flower with pale spots sprouts from her back, surrounded by a number of large tropical leaves, some of which drape over her shoulders and curl around her torso. Invisible amongst the foliage on her back, two vines wrap around the flower beneath the leaves. While she cannot use the move Vine Whip, she can manipulate these vines like an extra pair of limbs.

Personality: While most only see Suniku as a loud-mouth, that's only because if she's being silent, she's probably stalking them out of sight. She watches everything with wary and observant eyes, even if she may often seem to be completely lost in anger or goofing off. She has a very short temper, with only a thin line separate irritation and anger; however, it takes a lot to bring her to the point of hating a person. One sure way to set her off is to refer to her as a male, though this couldn't really be considered a weakness in battle since it only makes her want to bring her opponent down even more. If you ever do get on her bad side or do anything to cause her shame, you can be sure that she will have her vengeance and you will not enjoy it one bit.

Whether she hates those she fights or not, she is always ruthless in battle. She may be laughing and shouting playful insults the entire time, but she will still take the battle seriously. She plays with her opponents emotions in battle and does whatever she must to get the upper hand; not even those closest to her are safe if she ever has to fight them. Her methods of fighting are creative and often unpredictable, with her constantly coming up with some new strategy, and this keeps her opponents on their toes.

Suniku is very confident in her ability to take down an opponent, and with her strength, that confidence isn't entirely misplaced; though, she could probably use a lesson in humility. The problem is finding a way to get that lesson through to her, for even when she loses, she simply jumps right back up and acts as if it never happened.

With a fun-loving attitude but little care for the feelings of others, she often goes from being the life of the party to being the one everyone wants to kill. This makes her agenda of keeping emotional distance from others quite simple.

History: Suniku, previously known as Eiko, was born the illegitimate child of the previous king of the Grass Kingdom, her mother being a Venusaur gijinka named Hana who worked as a maid in the palace. How this affair came about, no one is quite sure; only that it happened, and that Eiko was the product. Eiko herself was too young to understand just how scandalous her birth was, and lived her first few years in oblivious bliss. All she was that her mother proclaimed her father to be the greatest man in the kingdom, and that the king seemed inclined to house her and Hana within his grand palace. The kingdom remained oblivious to who Eiko's father was, however, with only a select few trusted servants knowing just who she was.

As a child living in the royal palace, Eiko of course saw Stefan, who was a prince at the time rather than a king, around the grounds, and even spoke to him a few times. Neither, however, realized that they were half-siblings, and they never became more than brief acquaintances.

For the most part, Eiko had a rather joyful childhood. She was taught a great deal of etiquette, as her mother wanted her to live up to the king's expectations, but she was still permitted to play in the streets with the other common children. Besides lessons in court etiquette and elegant clothing, Eiko lived much like any other child. However, it was only a matter of time before she began to question her privileges.

It started with a question of who her father was when she was 14. Eiko had heard only praises about him from Hana, so where was this wondrous man, and why had she never met him? Then she began to wonder why the king favored Hana so. None of the other maids were being offered the best the kingdom could offer, so why was her mother any different? She found out why only a few months later.

There was a single drawer within Hana's room that she was always careful to keep locked; but one day, she forgot. Eiko happened upon it when searching the chambers for her mother, and within it discovered a neat stack of letters. Her curiosity aroused, she looked through the letters and found that they were old love notes from the king. From there, it was easy for her to figure out the mystery behind her father. When she really thought about it, she felt stupid for not seeing it sooner. The slight hiss that slid into her voice every so often was now obviously an effect of her Serperior blood. The king's strange kindness for the Hana and Eiko could now be seen as guilt for bringing the burden of a child upon a single, and rather poor, mother. The apprehensive looks sent her way by the few servants qualified enough to know this well-kept secret.

One part of her felt immense pride in this knowledge; this made her royalty, after all. A princess! Another part of her felt anger towards her parents; she had a right to know her lineage. And to know that she had a half-brother! She had longed for siblings all her life, and now she learned that she was related to Prince Stefan of all people.

Anger was the greater emotion, and Eiko confronted her mother about the matter. At first, Hana was furious that Eiko had been looking through the letters; in the end, though, she resigned herself to explaining the situation to her daughter. The king couldn't reveal Eiko to the public, she said, because those with bitter feelings towards the king would likely target her, the king's standing would fall greatly if the public discovered he had an illegitimate child, and it could cause turmoil over Stefan's place as heir to throne. All Eiko got from this was that the king didn't want to lose any prestige and thus made sure Hana and Eiko lived a comfortable life so they wouldn't feel any need to spread rumors. While this bothered her greatly, she decided she'd keep quiet about it, at least for the moment.

Four years passed, and the secret was still a secret. However, Eiko was reaching her limit, and it was becoming apparent to her parents. The king especially worried; he was reaching the end of his years, he knew, and he wanted his son to become king in his stead, not his daughter. But what if Eiko decided she wanted to compete for the throne? What if she told everyone his secret? Everything would fall apart! Despite Eiko's assurances that she had no interest in being ruler, the king was unconvinced and ordered for her to leave the Grass Kingdom and to never return. To Eiko's utter shock and betrayal, Hana even supported the king's decision. Eiko, reckless as she was, ignored the order and hid amongst the people in childish rebellion.

For the next year, Eiko dodged the guards sent to look for her and, using her knowledge of the palace grounds, stole food and small trinkets from right under the king's nose simply to rattle his nerves. In the end, it wasn't guards that caught her, but rather her half-brother, Stefan. She had already slowly been growing to despise Stefan as the source of her pain, since the king probably wouldn't have cared what she did if it weren't for him, and this was the final straw.

An escort immediately took her to the border and sent her on her way. Eiko didn't bother backtracking; she had had her fun, and she figured she could do more if she joined up with a rival kingdom. There was only one other kingdom she could really go to, and King Theodore and Queen Theresa were kind enough to accept her as a citizen of the Poison Kingdom after hearing her story. Instead of giving them her birth name, however, she gave them the name Suniku, and that is the name she has used ever since; the name Eiko reminded her too much of when the Grass Kingdom was her home, and she wanted to make it clear that she no longer felt connected to them in any way. Though, she does hope for a chance to avenge herself against those who ruined her life.

The years flew by, and Suniku devoted herself to repaying the kindness shown to her by the king and queen of the Poison Kingdom. She discovered that shortly after her exile the previous king of the Grass Kingdom had passed on and that Stefan was now king; though this brought her a great deal of satisfaction, she still held resentment towards Stefan as well. For that matter, she hated the entirety of the Grass Kingdom and honestly wouldn't care if it burned to the ground.

When the king and queen requested a volunteer to join an expedition to the unknown lands, Suniku was among the first and few who leaped at the opportunity. The way she saw it, going would accomplish three things for her. For one, she would have something to boast about when she returned; secondly, it would be of help to those who had taken her in; and thirdly, she would be able to show the Grass Kingdom the loyal servant they had lost when they had evicted her from her home.

Weapons: Suniku has a multitude of throwing knives hidden within her leaves and the folds of her clothes, and she is quite proficient at using them.

    Moves:
    -Sunny Day
    -Energy Ball
    -Sludge Bomb
    -Synthesis

Other: When she's stressed out or has something on her mind, she'll find some quiet little place surrounded by nature to relax and think.
