I usually don't have any issues when it comes to most video games mainly since I'm pretty decent at coping with many kinds of BS that's found in every single game out there. However, i do have a handful of pet peeves to share:
General gaming related:
- AI teammates in your First person shooty bang bangs = AI Teammates are rarely ever done right and even in some games that they somehow are, AI teammates still manage to clown out at times. They are either dumb as sin or they are so OP that they play the game for you.
- Shotguns in most FPS multiplayer games being rarely done right. In cases where they are given some sweet sweet justice, people complain about shotguns having way too much range.
Multiplayer related:
- Streams of Changes in League of Legends.. I finally realized something... DoTA2, like it or not, probably has the best approach when it comes to changes. Rather than smudge people with changes every few weeks like what happens in a certain game, DoTA2 instead just pumps out a huge patch or two and leaving it alone so that players can just figure things out on their own. Riot and League really peeved me with how they constantly implement changes as a means of keeping things fresh. Its almost as if League players never really have the time to figure new metas and strats out because from a few weeks, Riot either overnerfs things beyond viability or does some small buffs to certain other areas in order to appeal the playerbase. The worse part is that when Riot finally does with their overnerfings, people have already figured out ways to play against the said "OPees" and in the patch that nerfs the OPees, those champs suddenly become gimped since people have figured out what to do against them in-game. Of course, I should be aware that League having constant changes and updates has been the "business model" that Riot has used ever since LoL's inception back in 2009-10 but really i just wished that Rito somehow calms down on the changes and let players from all skill levels just figure things out and find new OPs and new metas. We want to make sure that we find our own new OP Metas and strats.
