    So I played Pokémon Snap for the first time yesterday...and I had so much fun! The controls are wonky but I enjoyed my experience, I feel it has a good progression, the sound design is amazing, and there's a lot of hidden stuff, it's exciting and fun.

    Do you have any Pokémon games you regret not picking up sooner?

    I have no ragrets at all. I'm having a lot of fun discovering and playing pretty much all the handheld games now, with your help and tips. :)
     
    The only thing I regret is not getting into the franchise earlier than I did & not having played any Pokemon Game, after Gen V :P. Otherwise I don't think I have any regret, I enjoyed every Game I've played.

    I stopped getting the spinoff games awhile ago now, and I kind of regret not catching up to them. I'm more than fine with the main series however, and if a spinoff comes out that really peaks my interest, I'll consider picking it up.

    My only regret is not purchasing White 2/Black 2 and I still haven't yet, I've heard really good things about those games and have just never ended up getting a copy. I keep telling myself I will one day but I've yet to so far.
     
    I regret losing interest in Pokemon during Generation 2 because it ended up becoming my all time favourite gen after I got back into the series. I wish I was able to experience Johto while it was still relevant, but I never played GSC until 2005.

    Aw, did you play HGSS? They were a pretty good remake of GS. 2005 isn't as bad as it could, it like, 5-6 years after they launched? Ok that's kind of a long time, was it around Sapphire and Ruby came out?

    I played HG/SS before Gold/Silver(/Crystal). Same goes for Red/Blue, played them after I played FR/LG. I really wish I'd played those earlier, maybe I'd have appreciated the remakes even more.

    It was the year Emerald came out. I played LeafGreen first during the summer, then I played Crystal during autumn and then I got Emerald on my birthday in December that same year. I was really excited when HG/SS was announced and I got HeartGold on the day it came out, so at least I didn't miss out when Johto became relevent again during Gen 4.
