Alomomola used Toxic

So which type of status ailments - the "non-volatile" ones, (burn/sleep/paralysis/poison/freeze) do you find yourself using the most, and which do you find can be most useful? Is it team dependant, or tier dependant for you? How often do you rely on these status attacks to win battles? Discuss!

Poison, no surprise there. (Does Toxic Orb / Flame Orb count?)

Will-O-Wisp, for sure. Some of the Pokemon I'm find myself using -like Jellicent- has an easier time beating the opponents it's meant to with the defense boost than trying to outstall for toxic.

But it depends on the situation. As I introduce myself to NU more, I'm finding that Toxic is showing up often. So we'll see! x3

Burn, sleep, and poison would probably be the top three ailments that I have used the most. Burn just downright cripples offensive attackers (aside from Pokemon with GUTS), sleep gives at least 1 free turn, and poison is a stall user's best friend.

For me it's between Poison and Sleep. Sleep forces a switch-out,(or if they dont switch then I can just pound the **** outta them) but Poison can actually do damage. I tend to use sleep more often just because it's so annoying and I like the free switchout, where-as usually when I use toxic/poison, I don't do too much to it. I noticed people like to switch out of poisoned pokemon too.

But yeah, probably Sleep is my most used/most favored status infliction to use, but Poison is also nice, and up there with my most used status inflictions.

Burn! With Jellicent's Will-o-Wisp & Scald, it's easily the one I use the most. sorry it's not an NU Pokemon, Nica
