Hey guys, we got a snowstorm here in Montreal. We might be getting 20 inches of snow today =/

The buses were stuck! haha

The buses that usually comes every 5 minutes, came every 30 minutes! xD

3 foot of snow last night and we're expecting more tonight. Gulp :S

Ya tons of snow in the western side and they aren't as experienced about it as Central/Northern Canada... ah well, maybe we can get tanks to shovel again lol.

There are no tanks in Alberta. Only decommissioned submarines even if there's no ocean near us. We put submarines in malls, cause we're awesome like that!

We have huge snow plowers to take out all the snow here. But we got waaay too many snow that we don't have any more place to put them in. So we just hope we keep trampling on them or just wait till it melts a bit xD

Depends... some places not as properly equipped with snow equipment. Wasn't that the reason why we had to call in tanks for shoveling that one year?

On the topic of snow and not for the sake of ranting, I heard on the news earlier just now that a tour bus full of mostly Korean tourists plunge 200 ft down the side of a mountain in BC due to the snow and undesirable driving conditions. I don't know if it's speeding or whatnot... lots of injuries and death =( Hope that things will turn out a bit better!

While we really don't get a lot of snow here, I always find it interesting how people act like they've never been in it before when we do get it (I'd imagine a good chunk of the US is like this, too). Cars seem to go at a third of their regular speed, people bundle up twice as much (even though the temperature didn't change), and things like that. What's even worse is that no one seems to know what a shovel is, so you're stuck walking on icy sidewalks for a week or two, which isn't exactly fun on the side of a mountain.

Snow can be bed, especially when you end up sleeping on airport benches because your flight can't land. Long story short, our flight back from Florida couldn't land so we diverted to Baltimore at around 1 am and slept there on benches. Although it was mostly the wind that made it impossible for us to land.

I like the banner, but since the club is called the Land of the Maple Leaf, shouldn't there be... I don't know, a maple leaf somewhere? Maybe something like this? I don't know, just an idea.

Well snow is quite a sight to behold, and naturally people are curious about things in a foreign land if they don't see snow at where they live. It's normal for us if we see it every year, but it's just natural to act differently when something rare happens.

Guess someday I should add that banner... then I'll actually have a signature XD

I've been there. It is... cold.

I would not stay there. Nope.

Yep. It's cold, cold, cold over there. I would say go to the Ice Hotel for a nice visit and see how nice it is inside, but don't stay there for the night. If you're looking for a nice and cozy warm bed, you'll be surprised by what you get xD

I think I'd like it for one night. I can't sleep in hotels anyway so might as well make an adventure of it, right? :P
