    Look for an open source project that interests you and then fiddle around with the code. This can be applied to any language, btw. :)

    • yeah. and to add, it's also good to find projects that specifically say they're written in C. C++ is vastly more complicated and it's great to be learning C first and foremost, so try to stick to that.
