My team hasn't entirely been decided. Right now I'm using:

Salamence: Notable stats are Attack - 342, Spec Attack - 269 and Speed - 230
Moves: Dragon Claw, Flamethrower, Earthquake and Fly

Registeel: Notable stats are Defense - 349, HP - 323 and Spec Defense - 303 (all other stats aside from speed are in the 200s)
Moves: Focus Punch, Thunderbolt, Double Team and Substitute

Swampert: Notable stats are HP - 356, Attack - 252 and both its defenses at 237 and 238.
Moves: Earthquake, Curse, Rest and currently trying to decide on a fourth move.

Heracross: Notable stats are HP - 320, Attack - 294 then both its speed and spec defense at 224
Moves: Brick Break, Megahorn, Reversal and Endure (this is not his final moveset).

Articuno: Noteable stats are Spec Attack - 270, Spec Defense - 263 and Defense 243.
Moves: Agility, Mind Reader, Sheer Cold and Ice Beam

Blissey: Noteable stats are HP - 650, Spec Defense - 327 and Spec Attack 206
Moves: Calm Mind, Softboiled, Minimize (will be getting switched with counter) and I'm debating on either Water Pulse (for the chance at confusion) or Flamethrower (for the chance at burn) as her fourth move.

Any input/suggestions? I'm trying to conquer the battle frontier, so I'm open to what you have to say :)

  • My FireRed team is:

    Butterfree - Ability: Compoundeyes - Lvl 61
    - Sleep Powder
    - Psychic
    - Silver Wind
    - Dream Eater
(Strategy: Using Sleep Powder of which the accuracy has been raised by Coumpoundeyes, then Dream Eater. If HP is full, Psychic.)

    Venusaur - Ability: Overgrow - Lvl 63
    - Giga Drain
    - Frenzy Plant
    - Earthquake
    - Sludge Bomb
(Strategy: Earthquake for fire-type counter ('cept for Charizard, Moltres, Ho-Oh...), and Giga Drain when HP is low)

    Arcanine - Ability: Intimidate - Lvl 61
    - Flamethrower
    - Fire Blast
    - Extremespeed
    - Bite (still looking for a good replacement)
(Strategy: *Trying to find a strategically good move*)

    Gyarados - Ability: Intimidate - Lvl 68
    - Surf
    - Strength
    - Hydro Pump
    - Hyper Beam
(Strategy: None, really. Pure power? xD)

Blissey - Ability: Serene Grace - Lvl 60
    - Flamethrower
    - Seismic Toss
    - Counter
    - Double Edge
(Strategy: First let Serene Grace and Flamethrower burn the opponent, then Seismic Toss, or when HP is still high, Double Edge. When the opponent is likely about to use a strong move, Counter.)

    Raichu - Ability: Static - Lvl 62
    - Thunder
    - Thunderbolt
    - Return
    - Toxic
(Strategy: First, Toxic. Then a power attack.)

That's it for my team, hope you like it. Please rate and any tips are welcome :)

Kittydragon, you should replace double edge with softboiled on Blissey. Blissey's attack stat is awful and double edge is based off attack, softboiled is much nicer as it heals you instead of hurting you.

  • Running through Sapphire with:

    Blaziken
    - Bulk Up
    - Strength
    - Blaze Kick
    - Double Kick

    Lombre
    - Surf
    - Dive
    - Bullet Seed
    - Nature Power

    Crobat
    - Bite
    - Fly
    - Astonish
    - Steel Wing

    Lunatone
    - Cosmic Power
    - Psychic
    - Hypnosis
    - Rock Throw

    Flygon
    - Crunch
    - DragonBreath
    - Sand Tomb
    - Rock Tomb

    Magneton
    - Thunderbolt
    - Thunder Wave
    - Sonicboom
    - Supersonic

At the time of writing, all are Level 38 except Flygon, which I force-fed six Rare Candies after grinding it to Level 39 because using Vibrava was making me cry tears of frustration. I am probably going to replace Lombre with Kyogre when I beat the game.

  • Please rate my team!

Hiya guys! I am a new person to this forum:)
Right now I am playing Pokemon Leaf green. This is my team:
    Charizard
    Gyarados
    Nidoqueen
    Snorlax
    Jolteon
You must be wondering where is my sixth pokemon. Actually, I wanted to catch a Scyther. But it is so hard to catch one in Leaf Green:( I have gone so many times to the Safari Zone, especially the patch where it is mostly found, but no luck.
Rate my team and also can you guys suggest the sixth pokemon?
Should it be persian, victreebell, dewgong, scyther (tell me where to catch it), the ditto which I caught near Fuchsia or something else?
I don't want to keep any legendaries in my team though

  • Before I rate your team, could you provide some movesets, please? I like your Pokemon choices, but without movesets, I can't really say if it's a good team or not. Thanks!

CHARIZARD: fly, wing attack, slash, flamethrower
GYARADOS: bite, dragon rage, surf, strength
SNORLAX: body slam, psychic, rest, sleep talk
NIDOQUEEN: counter, bite, double kick, dig
JOLTEON: bite, thunder wave, double kick, quick attack

Actually, I haven't progressed much in the game. My pokemon are all around lvl43 . That is why their movesets are a bit bad right now
