FireRed hack: Pokemon Vega Minus

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew how to get Vega to work on an Everdrive please? I have a the working patched rom playing on emulator but my everdrive crashes on the intro cut-scene. I read this was an issue before and some made a patch to it but Vega had been updated since then and that patch doesn't appear to work. Cheers in advance :)

Are you playing the original Vega (Hard mode)? If so, unless someone made a patch that works on hardware, it won't get past the intro. The Minus version (better imo) has fixed that intro crash on flash cards.
 
I patched the game with the base patch. If I repatch it with the fairy patch, will it keep my progress?
 
Well, I'm sure no one expected to see something from this thread again, but as I've been doing a Steel Monolocke of this game lately, I've been wondering if there's like... a text file or Google Doc with the encounter tables for this, as I can't seem to find one... anywhere

Yo peeps i was the one who originally made the fairy patch i now created an entirely seperate hack for vega if ur interested but it uses the original difficulty mine
also doesnt require u to have national dex to evolve certain pokemon..

Hello, there, happy new year too. Big shoutout to Akimbo for making the game accessible to the west, and MCKokoon for the refinements done to the base game.
I always liked this game and this made me go a little further than just playing it because i saw a certain untapped potential in it:
Using Vega Minus as a base i had been working on changing some stuff to create a different experience, featuring grueling boss battles, some mechanics changes (mainly a new custom exp formula that helps you always be around the level of the point of the game you are at) and increased pokemon options in the early game.
I haven't touched this little hobby since 2019 (which is why i figured i might as well share it unofficially, maybe if people like it i might feel motivated because it takes quite some work) so it only has edited content up to the 5th badge, but if someone is curious enough feel free to try it out and share your thoughts. Just keep in mind it is meant to be pretty hard, like about Emerald Kaizo levels hard.

Quick question 4 any1: duz this hack/game allow easy EV resetting and/or training at some point in teh L8 or post-game??? rly hoping i dont hav 2 ev train as soon as i get my fav team memberz
