Pokemon Spot the Difference

Opted for images.

Pair 155:


Spotted that chimney while trying to confirm another one. Avoided looking at it directly. Knew the general area.

Made a gif of the spot being reviewed. Specifically inspected the bottom piece of wood between the panes of glass. Blew it up to see better. Was not completely wrong.


Pair 156:


Why were the Wyrdeer lines the last thing spotted?

Liked the Kricketot forehead color change, also. Blends in well (for a Pokemon front-and-center, anyways).

Pair 148:
1. Missing the back talon on the left side foot.
2. Uprooted one of the trees in the background, to the left of the house.

Pair 149:
1. Took the small yellow button off of the rightmost pouch on the person on the right.
2. Filled in one of the small diamonds on the bag of the person on the left.

Pair 150:
1. Added a speck of white onto Corsola, to the left of Corsola's arm
2. Removed a speck of white (or air bubble?) along the right edge of the image, near the top

Now then, onto the new pairs.

Pair 157:
1. Removed the circle just below the screen of whatever that is on the - button (presumably the Pokedex).
2. Wiped away one of the white lines on the blue Pokeball.
3. Hid...something pink-orange-ish behind the leaves on the tree in the upper-left corner. (A berry?)

Spent the longest on that last one by far.

Pair 158:
1. Took off the small pink spot on Basculegion, just beneath where the player is sitting.
2. Extinguished a small flame, directly to the right of Rapidash's eye
3. Removed the line on the white part of the Basculegion saddle leading towards the handlebars.

Mistook Machamp for an odd-looking Pineco. Covered up the mouth with "Fainted".

Pair 159:
1. Filled in the line running up Kricketune's yellow stripe
2. Sheared off the left branch on the background tree left of the player.
3. Added a small seam to the top yellow band on the player's right leg

Checked out the seam on the green a few times. Never extended the search that far down.

Pair 160:
1. Removed the white ball on the player's lowest sandal
2. Changed Hisuian Decidueye's eyes from red to orange
3. Ripped out the bar going between the bench legs on the right side

Never really looked at Hisuian Decidueye that closely. Gets big turkey vibes off of it. Blames the autumn/Thanksgiving colors (and for being a bird).

Finished Pair 160 far quicker than 159. Probably helped to be against a solid white background.

Pair 161:
1. Added an extra gill line to Mantine
2. Erased the dark blue spot on the middle of the berry
3. Removed the orange dot on the white diamond of the trainer's right sleeve.

Homed in on the first two differences immediately. Took a relatively long time for the last one. (Noticed nothing strange at a glance. Checked over just about everything else once before getting it, including the clouds and other parts of the trainer.)

Pair 162:
1. Removed one of Machamp's arms
2. Smoothed out the mountain in the background by adding some rock.
3. Filled in the end of the bottom-right Phione's...head ribbon? Separated more in the original.

Was primed to find the background mountain. Thought the one in Pair 161 changed.

Pair 163:
1. Removed the line on Shellder's tongue
2. Bricked up the bottom-right window on the background building
3. Merged two fingers on Galarian Darmanitan's left hand.

Noticed the button actions at the bottom while moving onto the next pair.

Pair 164:
1. Erased the line in the music note
2. Added more green between Galarian Darumaka's eyes

Commends you on the subtlety of that second difference. Retained the shape of that bottom line pretty well. Spies a more pronounced wave pattern. Still had to scroll up and down to compare a few times. (Half-expects something else adjacent to be different.)

Pair 165:
1. Removed one of the rocks (or chunks of dirt) kicked up by the right-side axe. Used to be a little bit below the center of the axe head..
2. Trimmed some leaves on the right-side tree. Hung near the trunk and to the left of it.
3. Took out one of the spots of light above the left-side forearm.

Pair 166:
1. Erased Electrode's right-side eye.
2. Cut off two of the tails of the white symbol, below the 'C' and 'R' of "Electrode".

Would have completed ignored that missing eye, if not for looking for differences. (Spotted it pretty quickly when actively looking.)

Pair 167:

Spent less time marking up the image than figuring out how to describe the missing bridge part.

Could not figure out who that Pokemon in the bottom-left is. Looked like Tepig. Could not be that. Checked the encounters: Nickit.

Pair 168:
1. Increased the length of the yellow crack in Golurk
2. Added a circular-ish shape to the trainer's hat, up and left from the trainer's glasses.

Inspected the hat more thoroughly on the first image. Put it off more on this one. Arguably looks more correct in the second image.

Pair 169:

Missed the heart on the first pass. Figured one of them had to be different or a Luvdisc.

Pair 170:
1. Filled in the pink of Sylveon's front left leg to be a straight line, rather than a V-shape.
2. Removed one of the darker pink dots of the pink ribbon, near the top edge.
3. Erased the black line on Pinsir's body, above the elbow closest to the camera.

An interesting coincidence: Listened to Heartful Cry (from Persona 3) while doing this. Has not listened to it in ages. (Recommended it on Youtube.) Picked it before seeing the images.

Pair 171:


Probably went at least fifteen minutes without finding anything. Finally spotted the mushroom spot (after specifically looking them over at least once). Stumbled on the other difference less than a minute later. Go figure.

Pair 172:
1. Added white to the center of the eye of the little gear
2. Removed a rock on the right edge, near the bottom

Found both of these much quicker. Spent a little time eying the light effects, but not too much.

Pair 173:
1. Missing a freckle underneath the left eye
2. Snuffed out the flame of one of the purple candles on the far left.
3. Moved one of the lines on the bottom-right of Cetitan's belly.

Was prepared for a missing line on Cetitan's belly, but not a shifted line. Passed over that twice.

Pair 174:
1. Removed some of the light blue part of the blade (the hilt?) on Ceruledge's right-side blade-hand.
2. Took out the line on the breast pocket
3. Changed the color of the gem in Ceruledge's forehead

Missed the third difference so many times. Checked the lines and shapes of that area very thoroughly. Looked at the color of the other two gems once or twice. Did not register the top one as different enough, apparently. (May also be a hair larger?)

Wondered if there was a difference hidden in the player's hair. Noped out of inspecting it for a missing line/color for a long time. (Eyed the outside edge multiple times, however.) Combed through it just before getting the last difference.
