I've seen Japanese trainers type using the English alphabet with a special font on XYORAS Player Search System. Is this a Japanese exclusive feature?

Appears to give different options depending on your game. (Potentially game, not language.) Found two playthroughs.
Japanese game in Japanese. Spots an "A B C" tab.

Notes characters not in any of the English keyboard tabs. (Gives you É and é on the English one. No other accented letters.)
Might give you the English keyboard if you select Japanese language in an English game. Cannot confirm that, though.
