Just keep your eyes on the "check to see if your roleplay has been accepted". That is the best way.Does anyone know of any new RPS that need RPers? I'm hoping to find some new taste around here.

zilch entries on my RP.People! Play Sacred Fire and Divine Water!
Its a good one! (not to mention I can't wait for it to start, so hurry up and register, people.)
Sooo....how the rp life going, guys?
Spoiler:I don't think the dwarves ever agrred to ride, something about "mine feet belong on the ground, argetlam".
And about leaving Alagaesia, I think it is just the known parts of the land. It never actually states that Eragon flies to a new continent, just that he traveled along the river past the mapped portion of the world. (I personally believe the land across the Hadarac desert is where he went, but it never specifies if he keeps going or stopped before he left the coast. You have to remember, flying the distance to Vroengard took all of Saphiras energy. Imagine going to a whole new continent.) Also, the new rider have to have a way of reaching Eragon, because the selection process happens between Arya, Nasuada, and Nar Gharzhog (however you spell it).
Spoiler alerts^ Major for The Series
I also could do a joint-GM. I'm not sure if thats allowed, but if another person and I were to GM together, we could solve the activeness issue. So if I'm too busy on Monday, he/she can gm for the day, whereas on Wednesday they would be busy, and I can handle that day.
I mean, I'm going to be able to at least post once or twice a day, bar a few saturdays (competition) and about every other friday (home football games). I just would have a few times where I couldn't keep up with being a GM AND posting in rps I'm already a part of. So thats another idea.
SHOO! NOBODY NEEDS YOU NOOBS! BACK IN MY DAY WE DIDN'T GET WELCOMED!
I just finished Brisingr yesterday (even though I bought it back in 2008 and finished Eldest and Eragon before that lol) and I was kind of thinking that it would make for a good RP. BUT, the major changes I had were that there would be absolutely NO relation to the Dragon Riders. Instead, it would only feature Algaesia as the setting (since I loved that land, it's quite varied and mystical) and take the powers all the races had, and of course magic would be there. I would have either set it during the war or after it, but make sure that none of the players were dragon riders. Mainly, because becoming a dragon rider in this kind of place would honestly kill a lotta fun than being a normal mortal who would have to fight to stay alive. Maybe keep the riders as NPCs, but that's it.
Oh and also-
Spoiler:As far as I know (remember I've only read up till Brisingr) Eragon was already cursed by like 10 people that he wouldn't be able to stay in Algaesia lol. And yes, Dwarves were included in the Dragon Rider pact after I searched it and it was mainly done to ensure equality. And I think he sent like 3 eggs to each race as well, and one of them had hatched for Arya. The Urgals and Dwarves owned an egg each waiting for them to hatch.
People! Play Sacred Fire and Divine Water!
Its a good one! (not to mention I can't wait for it to start, so hurry up and register, people.)
I see Sacred Fire, Divine Water is making it's place here. I've just joined, & it needs at least one more RPer in Sacred Fire. Is anybody interested?
I'm not in the mood to make an SU right now, but Sacred Fire, Divine Water is a pretty sexy looking RP, and I just noticed I'm running dangerously low on active RPs.

Honestly, I don't quite see the appeal in doing that.
I agree with your sentiment towards Alagaesia, and all the races are truly quite interesting, but Alagaesia without Dragon Riders would be, well, like Kanto without Pokémon.
Let's be honest, we don't watch LotR because Middle Earth is cool (even though it is). We don't play Pokémon because the regions are neat and unique in their own way. Alagaesia without Dragon Riders would simply not be the Inheritance Cycle. It would be another D&D adaptation; an egg shell with neither the white nor the yolk.
Personally, I'd set the RP far enough in the future that you can assume that:
- All canon characters are dead.
- The dragon race (while still rare), is no longer in danger of extinction.
- Urghals are accepted members of society (although probably still looked down upon).
- Dragon Riders are at their second golden age; they're respected and feared, maybe they even conform an elite group of governors, but they're common enough to be deemed 'normal'.
- People have known peace for such a long time, that they've healed enough to start hurting each other again.
This way, everyone can be a Dragon Rider, and anyone (of us RPers) can actually change the world.
Aaaaaand, that's my two cents.
Yesss, my idea has people interested!
Spoiler:I've almost decided that if I were to do this, I would want it to take place where canon characters are dead (or in the riders/elves case, really old) but the dragons are still making a comeback in population. There would be....15 or so dragon npcs, and a few spots for rpers as riders. The onnly time canon characters would ever be present would be Arya, Eragon, Murtaugh, or their dragons visibly seen in large scale battles. Eragon may speak to the riders, Arya to the elves, and Murtaugh to the humans when not fighting, whether it be advise or a command. A majority of the rpers (6-7) would be normal (any race). They can be magic users, but won't be as strong as the riders in it. (Elves would come close.) A race native to the region Eragon has inhabited will attack the Riders out of fear of their dragons. They will be easily defeated, but for some reason (Haven't thought of a good oone yet) a rider will defect, and tell them of alagaesia. The natives would start to send ships around Eragon and the riders, where they would land and attack humans, elves, urghals, and dwarves. The riders would have the rest of the natives (*I'm thinking ra' zac...didn't they come froma distant land?) on their hands, and wouldn't be able to help when arya scrys for a hand. So mr/mrs genius RPer (The riders) would for whatever reason (one that would match the character's personality), would sneak off to Alagaesia to help. (By then, their dragons would be the size of sphira when eragon first rode her, but they would steal a boat to get there). Eventually, eragon would handle the natives on his end, and would leave to find the two riders and help save alagaesia. Then...yeah I'm going to stop there for now. The rest is mainly large battles like the ones near the end of inheritance. Only we would be defending
Spoiler:*Yes, they did, but they're all dead. The two Ra'zac and their parents were the only ones left of their kind. The reason being because they only really preyed on humans, and when the humans fled their native land and settled in Alagaesia they basically starved and died out. At least, I believe that's what happened.
Other than that, it sounds like a good idea. But . . . it sounds like you're giving the two or so rider characters a much larger part in the story, which could be a bit unfair. . . .
