hey it after a looong time

update

.My charmander is now a Lvl 7
attacks-Ember,Scratch,Growl.
.Talked to a stupid fellow and recieved a Potion
.battled a Lvl 3 pidgey
.recovered my critically hit charmander with a potion
.battled a lvl 3 pidgey(again!!)
.received an advice to jump off ledges to travel quickly in the wild
.battled a lvl 3 pidgey
.Hey my charmander's now a lvl 8.
.entered VIRIDIAN CITY.
.got to know about the 2 kinds of caterpillar pokemons
.enterd a wierd house and heard a bit about nicknames
.found an energetic boy who appreciated me for the poke'balls i had on my waist
.finally healed myself at the pokecenter
.there were a few people telling me all about pokecenter(as if i didn't knew)
.went into the pokemoart and recieved the parcel to be delivered to Prof oak.
.deliverd it quickly to oak
.gary was behind me as usual
.oak was exclaimed and gave us the pokedex
also recieved the pokeballs(5 no.s)
.went to gary's home and recieved the town map
.battled a lvl 3 pidgey and voila!!, caught it
.the pidgey's gonna be there only for my fly HM

as tis is for the monotype challenge

so my teams gonna be weak

Playing FireRed, I've just got my 6th badge. I'm considering raising my pokes a bit, or just have a go at the 7th badge. I'm going through with pokes that appeal to me, so I'm using the most powerful pokes in the game.

My team:

Flare (Charizard): lvl 44. Flamethrower, Smoke Screen, Fly, Slash
Quake (Dugtrio): lvl 42. Mud-Slap, Aerial Ace, Magnitude, Slash
Slash (Kabuto): lvl 38. Surf, Rain Dance, Giga Drain, Mud Shot @ XP Share (newest team member)
Fangs (Raticate): lvl 40. Quick Attack, Super Fang, Hyper Fang, Persuit
Mr. Machine (Krabby): HM Slave

I'm considering dropping Fangs. He was fun for a while, but I'm getting tired of looking at his big butt. Don't rightly know who to exchange him with. Maybe a poison type...

Amazing story about Sapphire and Diamond

This is a true story which made me very happy :). A few days ago, I decided to try pal park. So I dug out my Pokemon Sapphire and decided to transfer a few pokemon. I pick a few and when I looked at them in Diamond I realized they had the pokerus! This was the first time everthat I had the pokerus I was delighted. And after Realizing I hadn't played Sapphire in over a year I was amazed I had the pokerus and didn't know. Anyone else had an experience like this?

One time I fainted a Makuhita in Sapphire then a minute later I realised it had been a shiny. That was the only shiny I've ever seen in any game that isn't Diamond or Gold...

Just started a new game on my Leaf Green so I can get u full grasp on Kanto's region for my hack...and for fun. :)

Chose a Squirtle as my starter.
Captured a Pidgey.
Leveled them in Viridian Forest.
Defeated Brock.
As of now I am heading towards Mt. Moon.

Taught Bellsprout Cut.
Deposited Meowth into Bill's PC.

Traded Abra for Mr. Mime on Route 2 while getting HM 05 Flash.
Taught Bellsprout Flash.
Headed back to Cerulean City.

Edit 6:

Headed towards Rock Tunnel from Cerulean defeating all the trainers along the way.
Caught Pokemon outside of and just inside of Rock Tunnel bring my Pokedex count to 20:
Machop
Voltorb
Zubat

Received Everstone from Prof. Oak's Aid at Pokecenter outside of Rock Tunnel and gave it to Squirtle.

Woowees!!!
I restarted my emerald on DS because the one on VBA was getting monotonous... beating trainer after traner after trainer after trainer and STILL NO SALON MAIDEN!!
But anyhows, I just withdrewed the Potion...

Did alot since my last edit.
Should have posted in between important events.
Just going to sum it up then.

Arrived in Lavender.
Defeated Rival Red in Pokemon Tower.
Defeated all trainers heading towards Celadon.
Went to the Celadon gym and defeated all the trainers there.
Pidgeotto evolved right before facing Erika.
Defeated Erika of the Celadon Gym.
Went to the casino and uncovered Team Rocket's secret base.
Defeated Team Rocket and faced Giovanni.
Defeated Giovanni.
Went back to Lavendar and put Marowak's spirit to rest and defeated team Rocket in Pokemon Tower.
Got the Pokeflute from Mr. Fuji.
Tried to capture Snorlax near Celadon City.
Failed... accidentally fainted him.
Stopped near Cycling Road.
Realized I didn't have a bike yet.
Headed back to Cerulean City.

Well I defeated the elite four for the one hundredth time.

Just going to sum it up quickly since I did alot.

Defeated Koga in Fuchsia City and got the Soul Badge.
Got the Surf HM from the Safari Zone.
Got the Strength HM from the Warden.
Defeated Blaine at the Gym in Cinnabar Island and got the Volcano Badge.
Defeated Rival Red at Silph Co.
Defeated Giovanni at Silph Co.
Got the Master Ball from the President.
Defeated the gym leader at the Fighting Dojo.
Chose Hitmonchan as the reward.
Defeated Sabrina at the Saffron City Gym and got the Marsh Badge.
Defeated Giovanni at the Viridian City Gym and got the Earth Badge.
Defeated Rival Red on the way to Victory Road.
Stopped at the entrance to battle the Elite Four.

i got once got a shiny golbat and a shiny bagon in the same day, sadly i got bored and started again =(

I started over my FireRed game all over again and I started with Bulbasaur and I defeated Brock.

I almost did the same thing as you...except I never started one before and I'm using an emulator. :D

Just started on Emerald a few days ago. I started with Mudkip since I already used Torchic the last 2 times. I got a girl the first try and named her Koori. When I was going off to find myself a Ralts, for some reason, all the Ralts I ran into are guys... Yeah... I was sick of searching around for a girl Ralts, so I got the boy Ralts and called him Hikaru. So now, I'm going to end up with a crossdressing Gardevoir...this is going to be interesting... that's how far I went....

I dont know if this qualifies but

I was playing around with advance map and advance starter then when I went to test the 'get the starter' bit on emerald the poochyena was SHINY! it was pretty kool because the 1st pokemon i saw in the game was shiny.

While i was playing my other gameboy, a friend of mine at my house spotted a shiny tentacool but had no pokeballs.

Almost nothing to do

Almost nothing to do on Sapphire, since I beat the elite four.
I caught a bunch of pokeomn, including a Shroomish (beat the elite four and didn't have a simple Shroomish?! It just wasn't right.) Also I caught a level 2 Wurmple using my level 7 Ralts because it was crammed up in PC for too long =)
I'm still on box 1 for the PC stuff because I had a six pokemon team and stuck to it, only now did I start catching new ones. The highest level pokemon I had beating the elite 4 was a 70 pokemon, but my friend stole all my high- levels so now the highest I have is a level 41 =(
I need to train a lot more. There is one pokemon that I aim for and that is a Shiny Pikachu. Or Shiny Plusle or Minun. Hoping to catch all three. Either Plusle or minun then Pikachu, but if I could catch all three (ALL of them being shiny they would be my first three sinies! yay!) that would be awesome.
I was going to soft reset for Shiny Chansey, but decided not too since I like to not SR.
Update as of 10 minutes ago- Went to battle tower. So much fun. A 1 on 1 battle. I had level 41 (boo 9 level disadvantage, but I had the type advantage) Tropious and the opponent out of nowhere pulls Shiny Mudkip!
A tough battle, really. First I let Tropious use Sunny day so next turn our Solarbeam could kill the dang Mudkip; Mudkip uses Mud-slap which kinda makes me laugh since a barely effective move.
Next, I have Tropious blast Solarbeam which gets Mudkip into somewhere in the yellow zone. Mudkip uses Surf, which gets me in shock. Tropious still in the green zone, almost to yellow, which I did a sigh of relief. I thought it would do a lot more.
We wiped him out with Fly. First Mudkip tries to use Tackle but we're up in the air. Then a Critical Hit fly comes down and that was the end of our little fight.
