    in an attempt to get a feel for my recently developed team, team clutch, I have decided to host a tournament. this tournament will be four rounds of swiss, followed by a cut to the top four players. from there the tournament will continue as single elimination.

    this tournament is to be held for informational purposes only. it will give me my ideal line-up for future wars, and who I should substitute in if the need arise. there isn't a penalty for not making the top four cut, nor will there be a penalty for last place. it will only tell me who needs more help. this is why I choose swiss style, so that even if you lose one round, you can still make top four.

    as with any tournament, there are rules:

    ■ all battles are to be conducted on Pokémon Online, and The Official PokéCommunity Pokemon Online Server

    ■ all standard rules apply, except for the following changes:

    ● wi-fi clause can be left off
    ● spectators clause should be turned on
    ● freeze clause is in effect
    ● self-KO clause is in effect

    ■ there will be a strict five (5) day limit in which you must complete your battle, or forfeit the round. if the round is not completed but both players are active, the most active person will receive the win

    ■ both players must report the winner of the round by posting in this thread

    ■ if a problem arises, save the log for review

    ■ only one match is to be played between the players. this is not best X out of X
