Marshtomp now knows surf, I started surfing from the dock near Mr. Briney's house.

Battled Aqua Admin Shelly, Rock Smash her Pokemon. Yay. Poochyena gained alot of xp. It needs to evolve next level. Mightyena looks too...epic. So Aqua runs off and a Professor gives me Castform. Now to train.
Brendan wants to battle, well good exp, thought I would of liked to heal after the Aqua battle. Battled Brendan, Marshtomp's surf fainted Slugma. Great Pokemon to send out, Brendan...when I have a water starter. Menetric fainted Wingul, Taillow fainted Grovile.
Now I have fly. I want to use it...but before I beat the gym, I need to train my Pokemon.

We made it to the weather institute, where two Team Aqua grunts were blocking the bridge! One of them told me not to go in. Yeah right. We went in and Team Aqua was invading the place! Will Jamie have enough time to stop them?

Me and my team beat all the Aqua grunts easily. The toughest was the Aqua Admin on the 2nd floor. But of course, we won because that's what we do. Win. At least up until we reach Fortree City's gym leader, Winona. I know she is tough because even May (Who my team had recently beaten by the way) had trouble with her! This might be tough. Manetric is gonna come in handy for this gym.

--Invisible Objects--

We made it to Fortree City, immediately headed to the Gym. But something was blocking the path. Gloom tried to Cut it, Azumarill tried to smash it with Rock Smash, And Manectric tried to move it with Strength. Nothing worked. So we just went on to Route 120. There were more invisible things everywhere! I wonder what those are....

--The Devon Scope--

As we continue on, we battle Gabby and Ty, who were looking for strong trainers. Azumarill and Gloom needed some training, so they were up first. They destroyed them. We continue walking and we see Steven. (I swear this dude must be watchin' us) He introduces us to the Devon Scope that reveals invisible objects! (I misjudged him) We try it out and there was one on the bridge. It was a wild Keckleon! We defeat it and Steven gives us a Devon Scope.

--The Featherbadge--

We go back to Fortree with our Devon Scope, and use it on the object in front of the gym. It was a Keckleon, but it ran away. We enter the gym, and beat all the trainers. Now... badge time! Manectric was sent out first. She easily took out her first Pokemon. And then she sent out Altaria. Manectric got a lucky critical hit on it with Thunderbolt! He then took out the rest of her Pokemon, earning me the Featherbadge!

--Lilycove City--

After getting our sixth badge, we head over to Lilycove City. We battle ALL the trainers on Routes 120 and 121, gaining tons of experience, and then Combusken even evolved into Blaziken! Then some of Team Aqua were going out to Mt. Pyre for some reason! My team was not feeling well so we just carried on. I would get them later. After all that training my team needed a rest, so I let them all back into their Poke Balls. After going to the Pokemon center, I let them back out to see the city. Soon Manectric noticed that there were some Team Aqua grunts roaming around the city. I tried to talk to them but they kept telling me not to go into the cave in the cove (tongue twister). So that's what I didn't do.

--Wrongdoings at Mt. Pyre--

We go to Mt. Pyre, about to thwart Team Aqua's plans, when we got to the top and found out that Team Magma and Team Aqua had stolen the Red and Blue Orbs. The old woman up top said that they should never be separated. She also gave me a Magma Emblem that one of the Team Magma grunts had dropped in their haste. Maybe I could use that....

Training till my Pokemon are level 40 atleast, Marshtomp evolved into Swampert.
Something invisible blocks the gym, assuming it's a Kecleon. I went to route 120 to train some more. Not many new Pokemon here, so I went to the bridge. Steven was standing there, something blocking the bridge next to him. He gave me the Devon scope, used it on the Kecleon (oh was that supposed to be a surprise? Not hard to figure out...), caught it. Now I can get into the gym, used the Devon scope on the other Kecleon...and it ran away instead of fighting me.
Menetric got past the trainer's in the gym easily. Winona's Swablu was fainted with Spark, Alteria used earthquake and fainted Menetric, so Lairon got down most of it's hp. Lairon had 1 hp remaining, so I switched him with Swampert to fnish fainting it. Swampert's take down fainted Tropius, but again with the hardly any hp remaining, Swellow had to challenge Skarmory. It was easy, so I got the Feather Badge and can use Fly. Yay.
I taught Swellow fly.
Went to route 120
Battle trainers, train. Saw Team Aqua, I'll fallow them. After training more and safari zone. Poochyena evolved into Mightyena at level 36. Poochyena is cute though but Mightyena is epic.


Went to Team Aqua hideout. I'm supposed to go to my pyre, surfed to my pyre.
I thought this was a cave, not a graveyard.

I started my journey from the back of truck, set my clock then headed to MAY's house.

She used a pun and I left, I was stopped by a young girl who told me someone was in trouble and I left town to see what was going on. The local professor, BIRCH, was being chased by a wild ZIGZAGOON.

After checking each of the POKeMON in his bag were not shiny, I picked MUDKIP and battled the ZIGZAGOON into submission and saved BIRCH.

After escorting him back to his lab he gave me the MUDKIP for my efforts and asked me to challenge his daughter, MAY, on Route 103.

After training MUDKIP for a few levels, talking to the shop assistant and acquiring another POTION (the first being stored on my comp.) I headed to Route 103 and battled MAY's TREEKO and won. I then headed south again, back to LITTLEROOT TOWN.

BIRCH, impressed with my victory, entrusted me with the POKeDEX and MAY entrusted me with 5 POKeBALLS. I left town after MOTHER gave me some running shoes and I scoured for WURMPLE with an appropriate nature.

I looked at some future techniques and learned Bug Bite is learned at level 15 so I've decided to stave off it's evolution until that time.

I then headed west of OLDALE and trained WURMPLE further and battled and beat every Trainer on Route 102.

I then proceeded into OLDALE torn and visited my FATHER, NORMAN, who asked me to help a sickly child by the name of WALLY, catch his own POKeMON.

The bastard caught a RALTS...

After I escorted him back, I left further WEST and battled the two trainers on Route 104?

RICH GIRL CINDY posing the toughest problem. What with her FULL RESTORE.

After surviving that I headed into PETALBURG WOODS and trained WURMPLE to level 10 and caught a wild SLAKOTH whilst doing so. While traveling through the woods I found a DEVON employee looking for a SHROOMISH who was attacked by a mysterious bandanna wearing bandit with a POOCHEYNA. I displayed WURMPLE's impressive power and defeated him and he leveled up to 11. 4 more levels and I'll have what I need...

What's happened?

Bulbapedia misinformed me. Apparently, for whatever reason, WURMPLE never learns Bug Bite at level 15 for RSE. And here to fore... I wasted about two days of ambitious training... The problem? That I skipped a handful of DUSTOCS moves that would be helpful by waiting to evolve WURMPLE.

The verdict?

He's out of here, removed from my team... That was time I could of spent of acquiring a VIGOROTH.

Back to the logs...

Picking up where I last left off. (PETALBURG WOODS) I moved forward training my WURMPLE with whatever I could find. Exiting the woods and coming back to ROUTE 104 and defeating the trainers there, while also getting a WAILMER PAIL and some berries.

I then headed into RUSTBORO and picked up the CUT HM and then spoke with every person in town.

Then, I headed to Route 107 or 117... or is it 114, at any rate it's the Route with RUSTURF TUNNEL. I battled every trainer. With still not enough experience for WURMPLE, who, at this time, I believed would learn Bug Bite, I went to the Gym and battled the Trainers... When WURMPLE hit level 15 and didn't learn Bug Bite, I knew something was off. I opened YAPE to see his information and found out that the last skill WURMPLE learns before evolving into either of his cacoon states is Poison Sting... I face palmed and then I reluctantly reset my game from my last save point.

Now I'm waiting at the POKeCENTER, right before I went into Route RUSTURF...

*Sigh* So much time wasted...

So what's happened this time?

After restarting my journey I placed WUMRPLE in BOX 1 and headed out to Route RUSTURF and battled all the trainers. In the meantime catching a NINCADA, sadly though his nature poorly reflected his strengths. So I placed him in the box along with WURMPLE. And then returned to the tunnel to polish off the remainder of the trainers. While finishing the rest of the trainers I encountered an ABRA and I threw one POKeBALL and with that lucky toss, I captured it. It's nature was perfect and then I began it's Switch Training. Until the amount of experience was no longer good enough to make a difference in ABRA's level.

So I went to the GYM, and proceeded to switch train even in the presence of ROXANNE I put ABRA in first and switched him out for MUDKIP. After losing once to her, I came back while still using the Switch Train tactic, I used SLAKOTH as cannon fodder and won.

After receiving the STONE BADGE I noted the bandanna wearing fool I met in the PETALBURG WOODS. First I healed my POKeMON and took chase. Stopping him at RUSTURF TUNNEL. Now learning he had taken a WINGULL from a poor old man I jumped into action, beat his POOCHEYNA and sent him packing while also receiving the DEVON GOODS he stole.

The man, turning out to be MR. BRINEY and revered sailor native to Hoenn, offers his service to sail whenever I need it.

So with that I headed out of RUSTBORO CITY.

Before leaving I challenged MAY and beat her into the ground. OH shyte! I forgot to mention that the PRESIDENT OF DEVONCORP game me a LETTER and the idiot that kept getting stuff stolen gave me the GOODS to deliver myself seeing how he's rather incompetent.

So I headed to BRINEY's COTTAGE and took a short sail to DEWFORD TOWN and then trained a bit against the Trainers on the beach. ABRA then evolved into KADABRA and I easily defeated BRAWLY shortly following. After that I used my VBA Link to trade over my KADABRA to my other Emerald game and back to receive my ALAKAZAM.

So after beating DEWFORD's own BRAWLY in his Gym, I headed to GRANITE CAVE in search of STEVEN, receiving the Flash HM from a wandering mountain man within the entry of the cave. With the KNUCKLE BADGE, using Flash was a simple task. I lit the second floor of the cave and trained for awhile.

When entering the cave I made a note to catch ARON, which I did, getting him in a good nature that suited his needs I then continued in the cave, finally finding another POKeMON I would need later, MAKUHITA. I caught it and began training them. For MAKUHITA, species of his own nature and ARON's were his training buddies. While for ARON, ZUBATS and ARON's were his target. (ZUBAT being ultra-susceptible to Rock Tomb) and his own species being weak against Mud-Slap.

After training a few rounds I went into the darkest, deepest part of the cave, found STEVEN and delivered his letter. I then use an ESCAPE ROPE to exit the cave quickly. I then returned back and forth training MAKUHITA and ARON further.

I then asked BRINEY to take me to PETALBURG to defeat the remaining trainers on Route RUSTURF that I forgot to get to and beat them down rather simply, SLAKOTH proving to be and more useful even with his nuisance of an ability, TRUANT.

After mopping up the rest of the trainers, I returned to BRINEY and set-sail for SLATEPORT.

Upon arriving to SLATEPORT, I battled every trainer on the beach and in the SHORE SHACK. Earning my 6-Pack of what I assume is my favorite soda, DR. PEPPER. :)

Then I headed north into the heart of the city, stopped and sold my STARDUST, TINY MUSHROOM and other assorted sundries.

I then went to STERN's place only to learn he was off somewhere doing something.

I left to the AQUARIUM MUSEUM HYBRID and found AQUA had stormed the place, I climbed to the second floor and found STERN but was promptly ambushed by two AQUA goons. I beat them down rather simply, using a combination of SLAKOTH, MAKUHITA and ARON. ARCHIE, the leader of AQUA showed himself and told me no longer to interfere. Make a note: That's exactly what I'm not going to do.

STERN happy took his supplies and now with all my errands completed, shall head north to find more GYM LEADERS and more challenges, I have saved east of the low road leading to MAUVILLE.

The two POKeFANATICS with the 2 PLUSLEs and 2 MINUNs make me hate that species of POKeMON even more.

Also, ORAN BERRIES... RRGGGGH!!!

The rain keeps coming, Archie and Maxie go to try to find Kyogre. Steven lands next to me, hints that Sootopolis might have answers. So I go there.

He asks if I know where Rayquaza is, I say Sky Pillar. He remembers he is there, so he heads to find him. Rayquaza can calm Groudon and Kyogre, so I go to find him.

Rayquaza flew to Groudon and Kyogre to calm them
