Disabling the transition screens from Fire Red maps

Hiya, hope everyone's having a great day. I just wanted to ask whether it's possible to disable these images when you enter maps like Viridian Forest:



They are causing issues with my sethealingplace script, actually. This is what happens and the game freezes too, sadly:



As you can see, the whiteout text kinda clashes with that image and messes the game up, welp.

Do you know the location of any of these images?
I'd be willing to check it out if you were able to do the grunt work and find the image :D

It looks to me that this tutorial goes about these pictures specifically. I didn't quite understood the method to disable the picture though.
