[Gen 3] Taking the "Pick my Team" challenge

Recently someone made a Pokemon Fire Red hack that adds attacks from generations 1-6, splits physical and special moves, and introduces the Fairy type to the game, so I thought to myself- why not attempt a PMT run of that hack? The rules are simple: you comment my team, and I'll pick the most requested Pokemon off of it!
There are some restrictions though. Since I am tradelocked and this IS Fire Red, the following Pokemon are unavailable: Sandslash, Ninetales, Alakazam, Machamp, Victreebel, Golem, Slowbro, Gengar, Starmie, Magmar, and Pinsir (Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler, and Haunter are fair game though). Also, I'm only running the Kanto portion of the game, so no Pokemon beyond the first 149, as Mew is uncatchable and Mewtwo only appears in the post-game.
Second, I will only choose ONE Pokemon of EACH type (i;e if Mr. Mime is picked, I will not also pick Hypno or Clefable). The only Pokemon that does not qualify for this are Butterfree and Gyarados; since they cannot learn Fly, I will want another Flying-type. Only add Pokemon whose typings don't match the other Pokemon on your team (save those two.)
Third, ONLY final-stage Pokemon PLEASE (not counting the stage 1 trade evolutions mentioned above, or Pokemon whose evolutions are outside of Kanto). I'm not entering the Pokemon League with a top-percentage Rattata. I'm not Joey. Please, PLEASE refrain from giving me Basic Pokemon that can still evolve. You aren't getting me stuck with Kabuto and Pidgey in my final team.
Fourth, I will have one starter and NONE else. Include one in your teams, please. Also, only one Eeveelution, one non-Aerodactyl Fossil and one Hitmon- is allowed (although the latter two are negated by the type clause).
And fifth and finally, remember, this is all in fun, but it's also to challenge me by making me use Pokemon I'm not used to. I've learned all three starters, but most of the Pokedex is still entirely foreign to me (I still have never owned a Golduck ever).

Interesting that they'd change exclusives from Gen 1 to Gen 3.

Also for some variety try this one on for size:

Charizard <- I was thinking of choosing Blastoise but Charizard is better in Generation 3. Solid Fire/Flying Type
Butterfree <- underrated Bug/Flying Type who can't "Fly" and is on your exception list. Used primarily as a Bug Type
Vaporeon <- Tanky Water Eevolution for Fire, Rock, Ground and Dragon(via Ice moves).
Vileplume <- will need a Cut master while something to handle Rock, Ground, Water and Fairy Types.
Wigglytuff <- Normal/Fairy Type. Best of both worlds against Agatha and Lance by countering Ghost and Dragons exceptionally well.
Rhydon <- Counters Flying, Electric and Poison. Ice as well but... I wouldn't risk it lol.

Interesting teams! Also, so far, Charizard is winning the Starter Wars and Vileplume, Persian, Kingler and Rhydon are all quite popular as well!

So, my first order of business? Why, withdraw the Potion from the PC.

Now I have to leave. From what I remember, in Yellow version this tile could be used as part of a glitch to beat the game in less than five minutes. But this is Fire Red, so I keep moving and decide to split town.

GOSH DANG IT PROFESSOR OAK

I get that, but why don't you just give me one right here? Or better yet, have a GATE here, so unequipped people can't just try to leave?
Anyway, he takes me to his lab. Gary is in there, and Professor Oak gives some exposition about his past:

Gary's first sign of greed. Don't worry, I pick first, you can just be a jerk and take the one with the type advantage, it's not like it means anything. Sweet Arceus, I love a competitive rival! Take that, May.

Now I can split town, and-

UGH, I forgot to read that one sign myself, so she stops me here. Well, I incinerated her with Arvis' tail and moved on.
Before long, I find a PokèMart worker and mug him. Thanks for the free Potion, dude.

Yes. I am very evil. It's not long before I meet my first foe.

But I forget that I have to grind hard, so I run. I'm such a moron.
I have no more encounters on the way to Viridian, and after that I heal at the Pokèmon Center (an unnecessary action, but important later).

Take your time, Nurse Joy. Just kidding, I don't have all day.
Then I decide to rob the PokèMart and encounter my first re-translation error-

Oak'S Parcel. Really. Luckily the actual item doesn't have this mistranslation; just the delivery messages.
I guess I should bring this to Oak anyway. Helix knows what's in this thing, probably just the GS Ball.

I continue down Route One. I get VERY close to Pallet-

Luckily, after beating that Pidgey for the second time, Arvis levels up and learns EMBER! Yay!

So, Professor, what's in here?

Custom Pokèball? Wait, was my GS Ball theory correct?
Anyway, Gary shows up, and Oak tells us to fill the Pokèdex.

Hold on just one moment, Oak. You've devoted your whole life to studying Pokemon, and this thing has built-in info on- count them- THREE species, only one of which is complete? And you STILL don't know where Charmander lives?
Maybe it's just not native to Kanto. Oh well, I guess I'll have to settle it later.

There! That's what I wanted!
Then, Gary decides to brag to my face about his master plan:

So, now that I have it, I decide to head back to Viridian. Unfortunately, the first Pidgey came back because I ran from him, and since I didn't heal Arvis... Thank Helix I didn't decide to do a Nuzlocke.

I next go to the Pokèmart and buy 3 Potions and 10 PokèBalls. Good, he doesn't know that I swiped the GS Ball yet.
Time to head for Brock's, and-

WHY.

First catch of the day. I later proceed to snag one each of Pidgey, Mankey, Caterpie, and Weedle. And for the record, I'm insta-boxing them.
The first Bug Catcher shouldn't be a huge horror, right?

Why did it have to be EARLY GAME POISON, my MORTAL ENEMY in Pokèmon? It's why I hate going through this darn forest.
Thankfully, I remembered I hadn't boxed Rattata yet and decided to do it now. Plus I could heal while doing it. It's a good thing, too, because-

Yeah. I go BACK into the forest after boxing Rat, and-

NOT AGAIN!
Okay, I'm done. Not taking this again. ANTIDOTE TIME. (Breaks out Antidote angrily)
Finally, I arrive at my ultimate destination for the day; PEWTER CITY!
And here is the gym:

I trash Liam pretty well. Of course, he's like Han Solo with Parsecs, as he doesn't know that light-years measure distance.
Also, Geodude's SP DEF sucks.

I notice upon reaching L13 that Arvis fails to learn Metal Claw. I guess the mod adjusts their level-up movesets, too. I'll bet it was changed to reflect Gen 7- although that means I get Dragon Rage just before evolution, and early D-Rage is an Arceus-send.
Now to fight Brock. Once again Geodude is a wimp, but then I remember one of Onix's moves- ROCK TOMB.

Needless to say, I'm restarting this fight tomorrow, after evolving Arvis. What did you guys think for today? Let me know in the comments!
