Hey I recently started playing again after a couple of years and thinking of getting back to competitive battling.
Here is a ofeensive team that I thought of recently focusing on Mega Gengar's trapping role.

    Gengar@Gengarite
    Shadow Ball
    Focus Blast
    Taunt
    Calm Mind

    Scizor@Iron Plate Technician
    Roost
    Bullet Punch
    U turn
    Swords Dance

    Kyurem - W@Choice Specs
    Draco Meteor
    Ice Beam
    Focus Blast
    Fusion Flare

    Azumarill@Splash Plate
    Waterfall
    Play Rough
    SuperPower
    Aqua Jet

    Lugia@Leftovers
    Roost
    Whirlwind
    Toxic
    Substitute

    Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
    Ability: Iron Barbs
    - Power Whip
    - Gyro Ball
    - Spikes
    - Leech Seed

Please suggest EVs and move changes as well as better pokemon for the role. Feedback is appreciated.
    P.S. I'm following Item Clause.

Gengar should use Sludge Bomb and Destiny Bond instead of Taunt and Calm Mind. It's too frail to make use of thoes moves, and has plenty of power when mega evolved. Azumarill should have Huge Power as its ability, and Choice Band or a Life Orb is a better item.

    EVs and natures for each:

    -Gengar: Timid, 252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
    -Scizor: Adamant, 252 HP, 40 Attack, 212 Sp.Defense
-Azumarill: Adamant, 252 HP, 252 Attack, 4 Defense
    -Lugia: Bold, 252 HP, 176 Defense, 80 Sp.Defense
    -White Kyurem: Timid, 252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Defense
    Ferrothorn: Impish, 252 HP, 40 Defense, 212 Sp.Defense

  • Take note that Mega Gengar is banned in Smogon OU, while it's okay to use in Wi-Fi battles. EVs for each of your team members would be appreciated as well. I'll assume this is an Uber team given the presence of White Kyurem and Lugia.

Gengar can't even learn Calm Mind. It can take on a multitude of roles in trapping, ranging from revenge killing, Destiny Bonding and Perish Song-trapping:
    -Shadow Ball
    -Sludge Bomb/Taunt
    -Focus Blast/Taunt
    -Destiny Bond
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Gengarite

    or
    -Perish Song
    -Taunt
    -Protect
    -Disable/Substitute
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 248 HP/84 SDef/176 Spe
    Item: Gengarite

Scizor should use 248 HP/40 Atk/220 SDef with Adamant.

I don't think Azumarill is a good candidate in Ubers. Other Pokemon that can do its role better are Palkia and Xerneas. But that adds some more specially-based Pokemon on the team, so consider Zekrom and Normal Arceus as well:

    Palkia:
    -Hydro Pump/Surf
    -Spacial Rend/Draco Meteor
    -Fire Blast
    -Thunder/Rest/Sleep Talk
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Assault Vest/Lustrous Orb/Life Orb/Choice Specs/Choice Scarf
    Ability: Pressure

    Xerneas:
    -Geomancy
    -Moonblast
    -Focus Blast
    -Thunder/Psyshock
    Nature: Modest
    EVs: 108 HP/28 Def/252 SAtk/120 Spe
    Item: Power Herb

    or
    -Moonblast
    -Night Slash
    -Focus Blast/Close Combat
    -Rock Slide/Thunder
    Nature: Mild/Rash
    EVs: 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb

    or
    -Rest
    -Sleep Talk
    -Moonblast
    -Aromatherapy/Roar
    Nature: Calm
    EVs: 248 HP/8 Def/252 SDef
    Item: Leftovers

    or
    -Moonblast
    -Megahorn
    -Close Combat/Focus Blast
    -Rock Slide/Thunder
    Nature: Rash/Mild
    EVs: 76 Atk/248 SAtk/184 Spe
    Item: Choice Scarf

    or
    -Calm Mind
    -Moonblast
    -Thunder/Psyshock
    -Substitute/Focus Blast/Hidden Power (Fire)
    Nature: Modest
    EVs: 44 HP/240 SAtk/224 Spe
    Item: Leftovers

    Zekrom:
    -Outrage
    -Bolt Strike
    -Volt Switch/Dragon Claw
    -Dragon Claw/Draco Meteor/Sleep Talk
    Nature: Naughty/Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Choice Scarf

    or
    -Bolt Strike
    -Draco Meteor
    -Focus Blast
    -Dragon Claw/Volt Switch
    Nature: Lonely/Naughty
    EVs: 104 HP/148 Atk/252 SAtk/4 Spe
    Item: Life Orb

    or
    -Tailwind
    -Bolt Strike
    -Draco Meteor
    -Volt Switch/Outrage/Focus Blast
    Nature: Naughty/Lonely
    EVs: 252 Atk/80 SAtk/176 Spe
    Item: Life Orb

    or
    -Bolt Strike
    -Outrage
    -Dragon Claw
    -Volt Switch
    Nature: Lonely/Naughty
    EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Spe
    Item: Choice Band

    Arceus:
    -Swords Dance
    -Extreme Speed
    -Earthquake/Overheat
    -Shadow Claw/Shadow Force/Overheat
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 SDef/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb/Lum Berry/Silk Scarf

Lugia should be Bold with 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef. But be aware that your current set is stopped by Taunt.

Ferrothorn should be Sassy with 252 HP/4 Def/252 SDef.

I think he's using it in Battle Spot since he mentioned Item Clause.
