    • i know for a fact that the fastest to shiny hunt starters on is HGSS since you don't have to obtain them before seeing the pokemon themselves. that can be an option for you if you wanna.

    oh absolutely this one yes. thing is though, OP wanted to do a shiny-only nuzlocke, so it'd be pretty weird since you only get this item in the post game :p
