The Official Misty (Bring Her Back) Club !

Hmm...that would be pretty cool. I have never RPed in my life. :P

That would certainly be fun, but hard as heck to implement. I'm not quite sure how you'd get that to work. But I think for a start, characters would be a nice thing to list off.

Hmm well I'm good with these sort of things maybe I can come up with something. What about us being a group of asparing Water Pokemon trainers and we're being taught at Mistys Gym ?

We'd need someone to play Misty and a couple of other teachers o.O I'd be one of them ^_^

Well the RP could start out at a gym, but there needs to eventually be something that happens where we have to get out and start battling...and should we ban any character romances with Misty? I know at least a couple of us here would try that XD As for who would play Misty, I think we all could in turn, that is, whenever we talk to her we script her responses to us. No major plot twists without consulting everyone in this topic, too. Remember the three apprentices in the first Misty Hoso? I think our characters would be somewhat like that...any more ideas?

Nope, sounds good to me. Seems like it'll be fun.

BUT AS THERE ARE RP FORUMS ALREADY IN PC, I THINK MODERATORS WOULD GET ANGRY TO THIS CLUB IF WE DO! AND IT WOULD BE BETTER IF WE TRY TO FIND SOMETHING RELATED WITH MISTY INSTEAD OF TRYING TO BE MISTY HERSELF OR BEING WITH HER!
WELL! ANYWAY! IT'S A COOL IDEA AND I WOULD LOVE TO IMPLEMENT THAT IN RP FORUMS FOR OUR CLUB ONLY!

It was already agreed that none of us would take control of Misty for more than one post, nor be invlved in a romance with her.

Aye, she is merely a mentor and a guide.

Oh, and we were planning to have our own exclusive RP in there anyway, not in this topic. I should make a rule list for the RP, as well as a backstory for us to start with, but I won't post the topic. As someone else said, we need to run this by Tatts first.

Ok, here are the Misty Club RPG rules:

1.) You can?t join unless you have been accepted as a member of the Official Misty (Bring Her Back!) Club. Anyone who joins without belonging to the club will not be permitted, and if they continue to post without approval a mod will be contacted.

2.) You may not engage in any sort of romance with Misty, and you may play Misty as well as yourself for any one of your posts where your character has a dialogue with Misty.

3.) If you are about to introduce a major plot twist, explain it before posting it in the Official Misty (Bring Her Back!) Club, and wait for the approval/disapproval of the other members involved in the RPG in that topic.

Possible premise for the story:

After Misty?s sisters returned from their world tour, Misty once again found herself out of the job as Cerulean gym leader. Now with nothing to do, she decides to go out on her own again and explore a distant, lonely archipelago of islands northeast of Kanto in order to hone her skills as a water pokemon master...word has it that a new branch of the Pokemon League is attempting to form there, and she is interested in seeing if there is a position for a gym leader who specializes in water types. She brings along a few assistants with her just incase she can aid in having a gym built there, and expects to send them back to Cerulean City in a matter of weeks. Little does she know that an organization is attempting to derail the formation of the new branch of the league, and even less does she know how helpful her assistants will be in her quest to save the budding league and deny the organization what they want...

This will be a third-person, past-tense RPG. Make sure to write as stylishly as you can, and remember to add description and detail. You can catch pokemon along the way as long as you procure the right items first, but remember the aforementioned water pokemon clause. We will confer in the club at the beginning of the RPG to contribute to the drawing of a map of the islands and the naming of major cities on the islands. The story will begin as soon as there are four or five people willing to post, and if someone doesn?t post for a few weeks, they will be written out unless they give advance notice that they will be absent for a long time.

Any ideas to amend this? This isn?t the final draft of what we?re doing, I want input on the backstory or any more rules that need to be added...this is simply an idea.

Sounds good so far, Kaga. My two additions are doing away with the 3 to 1 ratio in Pokemon types. I say this because of who I intend to be in this. Secondly, I'd say define the villian/evil group. You've left a good bit of wiggle room, a bit too much I'd say. Are they a crime syndicate? A group of traditionalists from the Indigo League? Isolationists from the islands? Other than that, sounds good. I'd be willing to do a map. I'll post a prelim tomorrow.

Sounds good though. Go with it. I really don't have many objections to the 1:3 Pokemon ratio, but I'm a fan of Psychic types, so... Well, now that I think about it...
