Eh, might as well. Anyway, I'm not a Cerulean apprentice, I'm a scout for another Gym looking to open a branch here. So, without further ado:

Name: Dane McLasky
Age: 19
Physical description. Tall with a lean build. Silver hair and violet eyes (hidden under tinted sunglasses. Wears hiking boots, black t-shirt tucked in to green cargo pants w/ a belt. Silver buckle in the shape of an Earth badge. Usually wears a hiking backpack with basic camping supplies.
Hometown: Saffaron City
Known family: Brother (17, living in Lilycove. Coordinator.), parents (Silph co. employees). The brothers are in effect excommunicated as they didn't want to work for Silph.

Trainer Status: Senior Trainer from the ISG (Integrated Saffaron Gym-It's the dojo and Sabrina's Gym combined). Slated to become the Branch Gym Leader in these islands if it's deemed worthwhile.

Backstory: Dane watched his parent's slaving away at Silph co. He soon decided that that wasn't the life for him. He loved the outdoors as a kid and became (and remains) extremely fit. At age 10, he registered as a Pokemon trainer. His parents weren't all that pleased, but thought he'd "come to his senses." After attempting the Indigo League at age 11 (Taking 12th place overall) he returned to his hometown to be a Junior Trainer at the recently combined gym. His skills quickly gained notice and he was placed as the Captain of the Junior Trainers. Although he preferred Psychics, he learned how to train Fighting types effectively and began a study of the martial arts. He kept training other types too, recognizing that no type was flawless. His parents grew steadily more displeased with him, eventually cutting off contact with him at age 16 when his brother also seemed to want to leave. Preasently he's looking into the feasibility of opening an ISG branch in the islands.

Personality: Dane is a bit asocial, particularly in cities. He far prefers a night alone around a campfire with a tent to the best hotel and a large crowd. Reclusive and withdrawn, he can't befriend many, although he lopyal to his superiors. Unlike most Gym-linked Trainers, he believs in League cooperation, rather than competition.

It's okay, I suppose. But interfere with Ash and Misty being together and we will rip you to shreads. Not really, but you get the idea.

Anyway, ML17, for now I think you're the only incredibly specialized trainer, I am to a certain extent. Berky is, I think, though I don't know how devoted he'll be to the RP.

I actually didn't include more information about the crime syindicate because I was hoping to get suggestions from people...I wasn't sure whether to make it something like you said, as in isolationists, a branch of Team Aqua, a group looking to control all the islands' gyms, or something else...we'll need to think about that. We'll need to debate that here. And the 3:1 ratio can be done away with, as we don't set out AS Misty's travelling partners, but we eventually become them. I'll edit the general backstory to say that.

Name: Luther Goldman

Age: 18

Physical Description: 5'10 of an average buid with a thick head of blondish-brown hair. Wearing a black shirt with red hawaiian-print floral designs on it, a plain white undershirt, along with khaki carpenter pants.

Backstory: Began serious training at age 14, but did not feel comfortable competing in Silver Conference until he was 17. His team of six pokemon was reduced to five after his Electabuzz lost the conference for him and was released. Thought he could find fulfillment in pokemon breeding, but now desires to battle again. He is going to the new archipelago to judge the strength of the trainers there, and wonders if he could even find himself in an administrative position for the new league there.

Personality: Very serious in all situations from being alone since his early teenage years. Always cool in battle, has a disdain for the theatrics some people use when battling. Isn't sure how to react around others, but will quietly become their ally if they wish for it to be.

Maybe it should be a branch of Team Aqua or something. Or maybe have a new branch of Team Rocket or Team Magma searching for Ho-oh ( after all thats the only Legendary Pokemon never seriously mentioned even in the Power of One movie ).

And from the looks of it I'm the only majorly specialised trainer for the moment. Hey that's cool , I can deal with that XD

Just a comment, but you seem to have overpowered you character, Kirby. Although it might seem natural or fun, it shows little skill and lessens the enjoyment of the group overall.

It's not the moves that I have an issue with. We're all experienced Trainers here, my issue is with *how* experienced you made yourself. I'd appreciate it if you'd edit it, but it's your choice.

Have we decided where we're going to be holding the RP yet ? It might not be the best of ideas to hold it here. Maybe we can arrange it with a Mod if we really need to have it here or CK could make a " Club Only " RP thread.

Cool map btw TAD seems abit short on towns though ^^" If they're setting up a whole line of Gyms shouldn't there be more towns or is that just one Island ?

We're going to hold the RP in the Pokemon RP Forum here...I've never been inside it, but I know it's there o_O

I think that particular island looks fine...we're going to be going through a whole lot of forested area, so a couple towns per island is fine...we can even have uninhabitated or town-less islands too, but this will be the biggest island since it's the main island. We'll make up more as we go.

And I agree with TAD, we must all be of moderate ability, not some sort of supertrainer...being the champion of anything is a little too extreme. Make yourself beatable, and if you have it within you allow yourself to be beaten every once and a while...

Actually, I drew that map with the idea that I would just mark the major towns. There's a port, obviously. Maeato is a major shipping area. Ashlar would be the equvilent of Pallet/New Bark/Littleroot town. Finally, there's the capitol. You get the idea. I did the same thing with the roads, I wanted to leave everyone with room. Anyway, I think of it it as multiple islands, I'll get another done soon.

The aforementioned water pokemon clause is that if you play as one of Misty's gym apprentices, you have to have three water pokemon in your party for every non-water pokemon. This doesn't apply if you're a regular trainer though.
