Book discussion has been in Entertainment & Media for some time, if you're looking for the place to go. If the question is more why it's not it's own separate section, the demand is simply not there as far as I know.
As Nah mentioned, right now we don't have that much activity to split the section up, so right now it's best to use the Books tag in the Entertainment & Media section.
