I make typos a lot, especially since I have to bash my keys with a hammer for them to respond.

And thus the reason why kids who write essays like that should be shot taken care of >.>

I asked my sister's teacher about quick/internet speak, and he was like "Oh God, it's horrible..."

Oh, this problem is, uh, bad. My keyboard is so dirty, I mean so dirty.

Ah, but that is why I want my own personal laptop.

  • Our home PC feels so weird to type on now. The keys are, like, a centimeter and a half high, and I hit extra ones all the time because I don't lift my fingers up high enough after each keystroke. My laptop is so ergonomic. *huggles laptop*

  • I have a desktop. :P It's very handy, and far better than the monster I used to use. XD Much better for typing, but also, less likely to crash when I open a program, like, say, Word. XD

Yes, and after customizing the laptop that I want, subtracting the total price from the amount of money I have, I need 308 more bucks.. but I think that I might have a hundred more on the way.

    Edit:

After removing the cost of the accessories, changing my battery from 6 cell to three cell, changing the warranty and realizing that I was twenty bucks less than what I thought I was, the new remaining price comes down to 184, which is better. So yearh, I might get it soon. The space on it will be about four gigs, but I won't be needing that much.

I like my laptop, it's an above average gaming laptop, that likes to overheat, if I play a game for way to long. I've carried it around with me almost everywhere in Australia, back and forth from school, and it only has 3ish blacked out pixels (which is unexplainable, but at some point happened in Australia), and it is missing a rubber bumper (at the bottom), also something that had happened in Australia. Toshiba has served me well, and hopefully I can use this laptop for two more years.

EDIT: Meneur d'enfer, do you plan on getting a Dell?

EDIT2: Lol, and just now, I realized your name means Hell Leader in french XD *yay french skills*

I was wondering what you'd be using it for, ie, school, games, casual home use etc?

School once it starts again and casual home use, definitely not gaming...

When/if I get, I need to keep it secret places so that it doesn't get broken.

  • I got mine at the beginning of this year, I think. :s I mainly use mine for casual home use and a bit of light gaming. Tbh, it's just so good that I can do regular things with it now without having to worry about it crashing or stalling for ages. XDD

I have Crysis too! Though when I did try out the multiplayer, it reminded me of playing halo 2 on PC as well, where either you were really good, or really bad.

EDIT: Then Dell is a good choice for you, as all you will need is the minimum pretty much.

  • All I use my laptop for is Word, IE (stop laughing at me), iTunes, AOE3, AOM, WL Messenger, AIM (as of today) and maybe Movie Maker occasionally. I can't think of anything else. ^_^

Oh, oh, but Feign, you sound like my friend, a gaming computer that crashes, took it to Australia, the only difference is the location.

Let's see, my main uses are games, IRC (mIRC), Word, FireFox (ha!), and that's about it.

EDIT: I acutally bought it in Australia (price was good) XD. It only automatically shutdown, after overheating, because I was playing too long on it because of an addicting game at night, and had it on my lap (which makes the heat go higher). Right now though, I have it elevated, on a fan, but the fan is off atm.

Well, I am tired, so I am going to bed... *looks at clock* Holy **** it is nearly 2 am.

Sadly, my computer won't come with word unless I pay an extra two hundred bucks for windows 07

Yeah I bought my license online, so I could use it. But I do love it :D I also decided to dl Mcaffee, and it has been doing its job. I think ever since I got this computer, only 1 adware has gotten through, of which, when I put the computer in safe mode, and found where it was hiding, I got rid of it (it wasn't enough to simply have mcaffee delete it, as there was another hidden proccess).

Careful there, supposedly that makes fellers sterile:paranoid:
Just got myself a laptop a little bit ago, just use it for Firefox and IE (switch 'em up for some reason), Word, and Windows Media Player. A lappity-toppity-box makes college living a bit easier, I don't know if I could go back to a desktop
