If You've Got An Awesome UU/NU Team, This is The League For You!!!​

WELCOME TO THE FIRST UnderUsed/NeverUsed POKEMON LEAGUE ON POKECOMMUNITY!!!​

RULES:​

1. Standard clauses which include :
- Uber clause — the use of Pokemon classified as "Uber" will not be allowed, as this is a UU/NU league ONLY.
- OHKO clause - Moves that can cause a one hit KO are banned.
- Evasion Clause - Moves such as Double Team, Minimize, and Sand Attack are moves that base the battle on luck are not permitted.
- Sleep Clause - You may cause only ONE of your opponent's pokemon to sleep. The only exception is if a pokemon uses the move rest.
- Species Clause - Two of the same Pokemon are not allowed in the same battle.
- Illegal Hacks Clause - No pokemon can have seriously improbable stats (E.G. Having 999 HP). These are considered hacked and are banned from this site as well.
- HAX ITEMS Clause - Items such as Focus Band, King's Rock, Brightpowder, etc., Are items that base the game on luck as well.

Additional Rules:​

2. Items Clause - No two items of the same kind can be used in the same battle at any given time unless a gym allows this.
3. To challenge the Elite Four, you must defeat all 8 gyms. To challenge the champion, you must defeat the entire E4.
4. You may only challenge the same leader once every 24 hours.
5. All battles are 6 Vs. 6 unless the leader states otherwise.
6. To challenge a gym, you must post in this thread AND their profile page if possible.
7. At least 2/3's of the leader's pokemon must correspond to the gym's type.

Is it reccomended to sign up as a gym leader, even though I have almost no experience with competive battling?

I wouldn't recommend it if you have no experience. Best way to start out is to get involved with as many leagues as you can as a challenger. As you progress through your challenges, you'll gain experience and get great advise and ideas from everyone. After time then when you feel ready, go for a gym.

hey greene! how's it going on the banners?

Will be starting work later. I'm only doing the title banner for now though 'cause I can't make gym banners until I know who all the leaders are. Though I suppose I could do mine and Mikey's, and yours if you are taking up the steel gym.
