• Name: Sayomi Nakamura
• Age: 17
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: Sayomi is about 5'6'' with brown hair that is almost always kept in a ponytail. While in a ponytail, her hair reaches about two inches above her shoulders, and about 6 inches below her shoulders when let down. Sayomi's eyes are naturally a light blue, but seem more like sapphire when in dim light. Her skin is slightly tanned, with a large crescent shaped scar on her left arm where she was cut by an Ursaring when she was younger. Last time she checked, she was around 102 lbs.
She normally wears a light blue tank-top with a brown jacket that is never zipped up. Around her waist is a black belt where her Pokeballs would be, but most of them would be covered by her jacket unless she is running or takes the aforementioned jacket off. She also wears normal blue jeans with a small hole ripped in the left leg due to hiking. Her shoes are a dark brown, with light blue shoelaces.
• Personality: Sayomi is naturally a kind person, but is often reserved to herself until she gets used to others.. Her moods do change in a blink of an eye at times. She loves to sketch Pokemon, which often gives her the look of an artist, but she leans more towards becoming a Pokemon Professor. She loves most Pokemon, and often tends to get carried away when trying to help protect them; which has turned out to be her greatest downfall. She dislikes being annoyed or standing still for too long, because it makes her fidget more then the normal person.
• History: Sayomi grew up in the Johto Region, though she never stayed in one city due to her parents being scientists. By the time she was twelve, she had already learned more about Pokemon then most of the young trainers in school. One day, when her parents were studying the Ursaring near Azalea Town, Sayomi had gone out on a walk with her sketch book in hopes of sketching rare Pokemon...Only to return after startling a Teddiursa and and Ursaring - thus earning a large crescent shaped cut on her left arm from where the Ursaring had sliced her with its claws. The scar shows even today as a sign of her former carelessness. After a few years, she and her parents wandered to Kanto, where Sayomi realized just how much she wanted to train her own Pokemon instead of watching the trainers around her. Though she enjoyed watching the battles often carried out by Trainers, her true aspiration is to become a Pokemon Professor. After her parents urging, Sayomi has gone to Professor Oak in hopes of obtaining her first Pokemon. That, and a few tips on how to study Pokemon.

Name: Jon Shrell
• Age: 17
• Gender: Male
• Appearance: Jon is 6"1 with short red hair that curls to the right in the back so that the end is straight down 3 inches from his right ear. He has fair skin with no freckles or birthmarks and Sea blue eyes with an emerald green ring around each pupil. Jon is slim and not very muscular, but still pretty strong, he wears dark blue jeans and a white shirt that is plain in the front with a large pokeball print on the back and a thin black long-sleeve shirt ubder the first, the long black sleeves come out from under the short white sleeves.

Jon's Shoes are white with black trim and he always has his wallet with him, it is connected to the waist of his jeans by a sliver chains, the wallet has a pokeball picture on the front and a pikachu picture on the back. When he needs ti protect his hands for any reason he has black leather gloves and climbing equipment in his backpack.
• Personality: Jon is generally a very happy and outgoing person, but he has a nasty side that comes out when needed, he has loved pokemon ever since he was a small child and spends all of his spare time around pokemon whenever possible, he also is naturally talented at battling. For some reason, Jon has never had a lot of friends, but he always grows very close to anyone he actually becomes friends with, even their pokemon.

Jon prefers being around girls to guys, he's not feminine, but he finds most guys to be to unrefined and easily mocking, whereas girls are easy to become closer too and understanding of problems. Jon has gotten teasted a lot for his preferences, but he could care less because the only guys who would tease him about it are the unrefined, selfish stereotypes he hates anyways.

• History: Jon was born and raised in Olivine city, he spent a lot of time around Jasmine due to her kind personality and love of pokemon, he also loved swimming near Olivine's beach and playing around in the forest outside of it, he's always loved small cute pokemon with tough personalities that can pack a punch when needed. Jon never really liked Steel pokemon as much as Jasmine did, he found most of them to cold and emotionless, like Steel itself, but Jasmine's pokemon at least weren't like that, especially the Ampharos that stayed in the lighthouse all the time, although it isn't a steel type.....

One day while Jon was hanging out with Jasmine she asked him why he hadn't gotten a pokemon yet if he loved them so much, he didn't really know, it had just never occured to him before, so he decided to go home and ask his parents if he could go get a pokemon, they told him that Prof. Birch was visiting Goldenrod city so he decided it was the perfect opportunity and headed out, Jasmine insisted on going with to make sure he was safe, and because she wanted to meet Prof. Birch.

•Name: Jamie Williams

•Nickname: Jan

• Age: 15

• Gender: Female

• Appearance:
Jamie is short for her age. Think of Hikaru from Magic Knight Rayearth. That is how short she is. She only comes up to 4" 9". But her weight is just find. She weights about 95 pounds. Not that she really cares but her blood type is AB. She doesn't really care though.

Jamie has long very light brownish hair, with just a tiny hint of red in the mix. The length of it goes down to her butt. She keeps a big red bow tied up high on the back of her head in her hair. Her bangs are long and spiky. And she keeps her long hair behind her ears.

For a time when she was younger she used to keep her hair short down to the length of her chin, with a red headband on her head. And her hair was behind her ears even then. Now she always keeps her hair long.

Her ears are pieced. She wears big white pearl earrings on her ears. She is always seen with those white colored pearls in her ears. And on her left ring finger she wears a diamond ring. Around her wrist is a pink colored Poktch that she always wears all the time as well. She had gotten the Poktch for her Birthday from her mother.

Jamie's eye color is always changing. It is never the same color. She has hazel eyes. Sometimes her eyes can even go pitch black. Weird, and scary, huh. Her favorite color that her eyes sometimes changes to is when it changes to ocean blue. It is because she loves to surf.

Jamie spends a lot of her time surfing with her surf board. It is her favorite hobby, which is why she has a dark tan. It is because she spends most of her time out doors surfing, in the heat. Which she loves to do. She does it every day. Or she had until she started her Pokemon journey.

Her, clothes are her favorite, a sleeveless black tee and a short skirt. She wears short white socks on her feet. That is what she wears for her journey. She doesn't have any winter clothes though, as she comes from a very warm climate, where it is always warm. At other times she is seen wearing a bright red bikini with imprints of white flowers on it, with a long surf board strapped to her back, as she surfs a lot.

The surf board has a picture of a Pokeball imprinted on it at the tip of the board. We must not forget the most important part, her backpack. On her journey she carries a tan looking bag which she straps to her waist. The bag part sits on her back. Think of May on the Pokemon anime, Jamie's backpack is just like her's.

• Personality :
Jamie believes in choices. She lets her Pokemon decide weather of not to evolve. As a matter of fact she won't even mention evolution to her Pokemon, unless they state that they want to evolve. Even then Jamie believes in natural evolutions. She doesn't like using any weird stones or gadgets to evolve her Pokemon. She likes the natural level evolutions better. Unless one of her stone/item evolving Pokemon wants to evolve very badly.

When she is not interacting with Pokemon, Jamie's favorite hobby is surfing. She finds free time to do that every so often. She hates it, that there aren't that many places to surf in the Kansai Region. However she still carries her surf board around just in case. It is one of those types of portable boards, which she can fold up and put into her backpack, if needed.

Jamie's love of surfing came from her grandfather who loved surfing as well. So, Jamie guesses it just runs in the family is all. She has always loved her grandfather and his Pikachu, Puka. It was her grandfather who taugh Jamie how to surf, and she loves him for teaching her how fun it can be.

• History:
Jamie was born and raised in the Orange Islands. There she put off her Pokemon journey for five years. It was because there wasn't much of a league in the Orange Islands and she didn't want to leave the Orange Islands either. She can't stand the areas of the world where it sometimes gets cold.

So, for five years, Jamie did what she loves best, surfing. She was very good at it as well. She guessed she got that from her grandfather who loved to surf. Jamie wasn't always a great surfer however. As a matter of fact when she was eight years old, she used to be scared of the water.

She used to go down to her grandfather's place, and just sit on the sidelines watching him surf with his Pikachu, Puka,"Jan, why don't you grab a board and join me?" Her grandfather asked her. "Uh, no thanks," Jamie called from the sore. She would rather not drown to death, thank you very much.

One day, her grandfather took, Jamie aside and asked her why she's so afaird of the water so much,"You sure you want to know?" Jamie asked him, looking down at the sand. He nodded his head. Jamie told him the story about when she was only five years old. She had been out on a cruise with her parents, and had fallen out into the ocean.

Jamie had been stuck out there for a whole week, scared to death before anyone found her. Her father was the one who found her. Then they were attacked by Tentacruel. Her father lost his life in the attack, trying to save his daughter.

That had a bad effect on Jamie. She stayed in her room, mopping for about a week, until she finally came out. But from then on she was scared to even approach the water. As a matter of fact, when she bathed, she'd never take a bath, she'd always take a shower, instead. And when she came to visit her grandfather in Kanto on the cruise ship, she'd stay in her room the whole time, as far away from the water as possible.

Jamie's grandfather nodded after hearing her story,"I know how you feel, Jan. But you can't let that ruint your life. It wasn't your fault after all. Surfing is a great experience. You don't realize what your missing out on," her grandfather explained to her.

"Follow me," he said to Jamie. They went to the edge of the water,"Here look," he said handing her a par of banoelers. Jamie looked though them and saw a huge rock out in the ocean. At the very top very high up was a flag with a letter J printed on it.

He told her all about her annsister, whose name just happened to be Jan. He told her how Jan loved to surf everyday. Jamie's grandfather told her about how Jan had surfed all the way up there and stuck that flag there with her innile on it. "Wow!" Jamie said impressed,"So, that is why you call me, Jan." Her grandfather nodded,"Plus, the fact that you look so much like your annsister. You two are just alike, you know."

He then told her, he used to be scared of the water to, until he met Puka, the Pikachu who's with him now. Puka had sparked a love in him for surfing that he never knew he had. Ever since then he'd wanted to get his own flag up there just like Jan's.

The next few days, the rumor streatd around about that. And a lot of other surfers came down to the beach with there surf boards, wanting to get there own flags at the top of the rock as well. They all failed. The rock ended up looking like a battlefield with all those flags sticking out of it.

Even her grandfather tried. He then realized he'd need to wait for the big wave to get here first. One day him and Puka were out in the water when those same Tentacruel that had killed Jamie's father came up. He screamed as they prepared to attack. Puka couldn't use Thundershock without shocking him either.

"Oh no! Grandfather look out!" Jamie screamed. She had no choice. She grabbed a surf board and ran out to him,"Hang on grandfather!" She called, refusing to let someone she loves, die a second time. Just as she got out there though, the big wave hit washing all of the Tentacruel away.

Jamie's instine kicked in and she started surfing the wave next to her grandfather, like she had been surfing her whole life. Puka was on the surf board with her grandfather. After she got into it, Jamie realized it was pretty fun. They were getting closer and closer to the big rock. Her grandfather handed her a flag with a J printed on it,"Thought I'd make this just for you in case you've like to try," he told her.

Jamie grinned at him,"Thanks a lot, grandfather," she giggled,'Even if I don't make it, I'm having the time of my life out here. I'll never be scared of the water again.' Her and her grandfather surfed over the rock throwing both there flags into it, both of them landing side by side next to Jan's flag. Then they both came back to sore looking proud of themselves. For the next five years Jamie entered surfing conitistions and she won them all. She became known as the surfing champion, of the Orange Islands.

Jamie leaves the lab,"Come on Squirts, let's go," she says. Her Squirtle follows her out of the lab. She hears her trip over her feet as she follows her outside. Jamie decides to look around the outside of the lab before leaving. When Prof. Oak isn't looking she goes around to the other side of the building to take a look around.

Squirts follows her. Jamie decided to keep her outside her Pokeball in case she ran into something, or someone. Her stomach growled,"Let's eat first," she and Squirts sit down in the grass and Jamie pulled out a sandwich and gave Squirts some Pokemon food.

She started eating, and drinking a can of soda. She gave Squirts some water,"Squirtle," she thanked her. Jamie grinned down at the small turtle type,"You welcome." Jamie sit there and thought about her journey ahead as she sipped her drink,"I wish there were more places to surf around here," she sighed.

Surfing had always been Jamie's hobby. That was why she got a water type as a starter. She wanted a surfing partner. A Pokemon, that will ride on her surf board with her, while she surfs. She hadn't bothered to ask Prof. Oak if there were any surfing spots around here though. She didn't want to sound stupid, like she couldn't find her way around.

And besides, there probably were at least a few places here to surf. Jamie sighed, to herself. She missed the Orange Islands already. There she was always surfing everyday. All the islanders knew of Jamie as the surf champion. She'd won a lot of trophys from surfing over the years, as well.

Jamie smiled, remembering her past,"Hm, good times, good times." Squirts looked up at her, as she finished her meal. "Tell me Squirts, how do you feel about surfing?" She asked her. "Squir?" Squirts looked confused. Jamie explained to her about surfing.

Finding out it involved water, Squirts grinned and nodded,"Squirtle!" Jamie grinned back,"That's good, Squirts. Would you like to be my surfing partner?" She asked her. "Squirt," Squirts replied, nodding yes. "Good," Jamie replied, getting excited about her journey already.

Jamie picked out her cell phone and called up Victor, her grandfather,"Hey, grandpa, I'm in the Johto Region now. And I already got my starter Pokemon," she told him. "Good, which did you pick?" He asked her though the phone. "I picked a Squirtle. Her name is Squirts," she told him.

"That's a very good choice, Jamie. It's always good for a surfer to start out with a good water type Pokemon. Now, I've heard that you can find a certain HM in that area called Surf. Once you teach it to Squirts, you and her really can become one as surfing partners," Victor explained to Jamie.

"Yea, don't worry, grandpa. I'll keep a look out for that HM. Whatever an HM is anyway," she looked confused. "HM means Hidden Machine. It is one of seven different HMs, that you can find in the Johto Region. Unlike TMs, Technical Machines, which can only be used once, I heard that HMs can be used any number of times," Victor told her.

"That's great! So, I could teach more then one Pokemon the Surf move?" Jamie asked, cheering. "Yes. I also heard that there are about three different water HMs out there. There is Surf which you know of already. But there is also Whirlpool, and Waterfall as well," Victor told his granddaughter. "That's cool," Jamie said. "Well, I have to get going now Jamie. Me and Puka are going to get caught up on some more surfing," Victor said.

"Ok, have fun. Bye!" Jamie said as she and Victor hung up. Jamie grinned. She always thought it was kinda cool, that Victor has a Pikachu that loves the water like that. But it was kinda weird that Puka had blue eyes though,'Maybe Puka was a gift from the heavens or something,' Jamie thought to herself. Anyway, after they both finished eating Jamie cleaned up. Her and Squirts then went around the corner to the back of the lab and begin searching to see what they could find.

Right after evolving Pichu into a Pikachu, Kairi decided Pikachu needed some training very badly. He is just at level 1 after all. She didn't need to worry about leveling up Pachirisu yet, since she was going into the Storage Box. So, the only Pokemon needing training right now was Pikachu. Kairi walked into the training building carrying her Pikachu with Shiva walking by her side and Shaymin in her sky form floating beside her.

At once as soon as Kairi walked inside the building a lot of people ran up to her. They were all staring at Shaymin. She sure was atracking a lot of attention. Shaymin looked a little bit nervous from all these people crowding around her. It wasn't so bad until they started taking pictures of her.

+Uh, Kairi if you need me I'll be sleeping on top of the building,+ Shaymin stated as she flew outside, and on top of the building, where she changed back into her land form, and curled up into a ball and went to sleep.

Kairi kinda giggled a little,"Poor, Shaymin," she grinned. She then walked up to the counter,"I'd like to enter my Pikachu into a training battle please," she said. She picked a random number and the clerk led her to the battlefield. A young trainer by the name of Tox entered the room.

"Ha! A Pikachu," he grinned pointing at Pikachu,"You think your little rat there even stands a chance against me? I'm unbeatable!"

Kairi binked,"Why do you say that?" She asked him. "I'll show you why!" He said as he threw a PokeBall out onto the battlefield. A Ninetales popped out of the PokeBall,"Nine!" It said as it appeared in a flash of light. "A Ninetales!" Kairi says, taking out her Pokedex and pointing it at the fox Pokemon:


"Wow! A 50 year curse," Kairi sighed. That could be a problem. Kairi made a note of that,'Never piss off a Ninetales or touch it's tails.' She put her notepad back into her backpack. She was now ready for the battle. Pikachu walked out onto the battlefield. He was ready to fight as well.

The Ref then came out to judge the battle,"This will be a one on one Pokemon battle with no time limit. Only one Pokemon for each side may be used. In this battle no Potions or healing items may be used either. Kairi chooses Pikachu. While Tox chooses Nintales. Let the battle begin!" The Ref said as he rung the bell to begin the match.

"I'll let you make the first move Kairi," Tox told her. "Ninetales won't be able to take this! Pikachu Thundershock!" Kairi ordered. Pikachu charged up power in his cheecks then let it fly towards the Ninetales who dodged Pikachu's attack like it was nothing.

"But....how!?" Kairi wondered. "Pika!" Pikachu said, shocked as well. "Hehe! You don't get it do you? Ninetales is much stronger then Pikachu. Ninetales is better build then Pikachu. Plus, it's a fully evolved Pokemon, which also makes it much better," Tox said, lectoring Kairi.

"A Pokemon doesn't have to be fully evolved to be strong!" Kairi demanded shaking her fist at Tox. "Pika pika!" Pikachu agreed, getting kinda mad. "I'll show you the power of a fully evolved Pokemon! Ninetales! Use Flamethrower!" He said pointing.

"Dodge it Pikachu!" Kairi screamed. Too late, Pikachu was hit with Flamethrower full force,"Pikachu!" Kairi screamed. Pikachu was burnt by the Flamethrower attack,"Come on Pikachu! Hang in there! Your much faster then that Ninetales is!" Kairi begged her Pokemon.

"Chuuuu!" Pikachu groaned painfully, trying with all his might to get back up on to his feet. "Come on Pikachu!" Kairi begged again. "Pika!" Pikachu said getting back up. "But how? That Pikachu should be roasted to a crist!" Tox says looking confused. "See what did I tell you? An evolved Pokemon isn't always better!" Kairi demanded.

"So! Evolved or not all I have to do is hit your little Pikachu a few more times with Flamethrower and down it goes, seeing as it's already burnt," Tox laughed evily.

"Chaaaa," Pikachu cried as he was hurt from the burn. And Kairi couldn't use a Full Heal on him as these fights forbid the use of items during the fight. The only thing that would of worked would be if Pikachu had been holding a berry that cures burns. But he wasn't, so Kairi had to make do. She'd have to finish this battle quickly before Pikachu fainted from his burn.

"Ninetales! You know what to do," Tox says. Ninetales nodded and shot Flamethrower at Pikachu again. But this time Pikachu was ready for that and dodged the attack. "See! Your Ninetales may be strong but Pikachu's faster! Power does you no good if you can't hit my Pikachu!" Kairi says,"Pikachu! Keep dodging Flamethrower and use Charm!"

Pikachu nodded and used Charm on Ninetales lowering it's attack by two,"Flamethrower!" Tox yelled. Pikachu dodged and used Charm again. Ninetales growled at Pikachu and shot Flamethrower once again, which Pikachu dodged by sliding right under Ninetales' body.

"Thundershock! Now!" Kairi screamed out. Pikachu screamed sending out his attack. Since Pikachu was right under Ninetales when the attack was released it was a cirtical hit. Ninetales was paralyzed. "Glace!" Shiva cheered for Pikachu, while Tox just screamed,"No! Ninetales!" And ordered Flamethrower just as Pikachu slid out from under it. But Ninetales was fully paralyzed and couldn't move.

"Do it Pikachu!" Kairi called. Pikachu nodded and grabbed onto Ninetales and sent another Thundershock into it's body. It was another cirtical hit. Tox ordered Flamethrower again. But Ninetales was still too paralyzed to move.

So Kairi ordered another Thundershock. By this time though Pikachu was hurt by his burn so badly that he could barly move himself. It was lucky for him that Ninetales couldn't move either. But he shot another Thundershock again, doing yest another cirtical hit.

Both Pokemon looked pretty weak right about now. One more attack could end the fight one way or another. "Come on Ninetales! Flamethrower!" Tox begged his Pokemon. Pikachu backed away as Ninetales moved and was able to release Flamethrower this time,"Quickly Thundershock!" Kairi called.

Both Pokemon released there attacks at the same time, both hitting in the center making a very big explosion, throwing both Pokemon backwards. When the smoke cleared both Pikachu and Ninetales were both panting very hard. They both glared at each other in the face.

It looked like one was going to go down now. Both Kairi and Tox didn't even bother to make a move but stood there watching there two Pokemon for a full minute before Ninetales fell to the floor fainting.

"Yes! Wait ago Pikachu!" Kairi cheered. "Ninetales is no longer able to battle. The winners are Kairi and Pikachu," The ref called waving the green flag at Kairi. Kairi ran up and picked up Pikachu hugging him,"Thanks a lot Pikachu," She said grinning.

"Pika," Pikachu said weakly about to faint from the burn. Kairi put him into his PokeBall for a much needed rest. Tox recalled Ninetales and walked up to Kairi,"Thanks for showing me I was wrong. Looks like evolved Pokemon aren't always better. Looks like I have a lot more to learn as a trainer. You keep on training that Pikachu of yours and I'm sure it'll grow into a very powerful Pokemon one day," he said.

"Thanks a lot," Kairi says, as she and Tox shoot hands after a great battle. Kairi says farewell to Tox and goes to the counter and has Pikachu healed. She called for Shaymin,"Shaymin! It's time to leave!" Shaymin heard her, and changed into her sky form and met her and Shiva outside. Together with Shaymin and her other Pokemon Kairi left to continue her Pokemon journey.

Ok, I'll take Squirtle then and catch my own Pikachu later.

Sorry, I was kind of pressed for time, don't worry, I can do long posts, in fact, I know I don't need to now, but I think I'll put in a different RP sample anyways.

• Appearance: Jacqueline, though she prefers to be called Jackie, is a pretty brown-skinned girl with almond-shaped light brown eyes, her hair is short and brown, bordering on black, stopping just at the nape of her neck, while the front of her hair is uneven and choppy. The left side is slightly longer than the right, stopping at her chin, while the right stops just a few inches below her cheeks. Standing at 5'6 Jackie has a very athletic build and the body of a dancer, due to years of gymnastic training and ballet lessons. Though a few years back she had quit, for reasons unknown and unexplained. Jackie prefers wearing short sleeved shirts, of her preferred color, under snug stylish hoodies, also of her preferred color, with long sleeves that cover her hands, allowing only her fingertips to be visible and hip hugging pants with flared legs and sometimes decorative patterns, embroideries or signs that cover her sneakers, so more often than not, she's seen wearing either cargo pants or jeans and her favorite pair of worn sneakers. Hanging loosely around her neck are a pair of cordless silver-chrome skull embroidered headphones, that had the words 'best friends forever' engraved on both of the earphone attachments, which are mostly there for decoration purposes but they also help for blocking out sounds. These headphones mean lot to her and she never takes them off because she received them as a gift.[/FONT]

• Personality: If one asked a close friend of Jacqueline, to compare her to one Pokémon in the entire world, they'd laugh and compare her to a Slakoth before exclaiming with grin, that somehow she's worse. She is a casual, carefree, laid-back, under achiever who often prefers sleeping or hanging out with her friends over doing any actual work. Several of her peers and friends could vouch this statement. Anyone who is close to Jackie, knows that this girl has not even an ounce of a motivational bone in her body when it comes to manual labor and would prefer to not lift a finger and would rather have someone else do it. She even complains while doing even the simplest of tasks, such as her daily chores, grumbling while doing so, about how she'd rather sleep or relaxing than be up to her elbows in soap suds and dirty dishes or hanging up the laundry to dry.

Despite complaining a lot, Jackie will still get whatever job she's tasked with done, having grown up with a mindset of always finishing a job you start and leave a place cleaner than it was found, though this might take a while with her constant complaining and heavy sighs but eventually it will get done. Aside from being lazy and carefree, Jackie has also been know to exude bouts of random knowledge and likes to give people random unecessary facts, mostly due to the fact that she spends some of her time reading. She is not a slacker when it comes to her school work and book smarts, its just everything else and this leaves her parents to often wonder why or how their child managed to grow up this way. Jackie prefers to take a lot of things in her life lightly and prefers to move at her own pace, she doesn't like to dwell on the bad things in life, deeming getting depressed or upset over something is a bother and way to much work. This statement has caused a lot of people to glance at her in wonder, while she shrugs before going back to whatever she had been doing, which more often than not was probably sleeping.[/FONT]

• History: Growing up in the Jhoto region for Jackie was simple and sweet with no complications what so ever, her parents were happily married and they own a nice house in Cherrygrove and lived in a nice suburban area, everything was great. When she was younger, Jackie was a lively and extremely energetic child, who always enjoyed her after school lessons to practice gymnastics and ballet dancing, however as the years went on and the girl got older, she eventually stopped, neither Jackie nor her parents knew why her motivation and spark for it died, as Jackie states when asked, with a slight shrug and a half hearted manner 'it sorta just did.' When it comes to making friends, Jackie doesn't have a hard time since she has such a pretty nice and easy going personality even so she only has about 3 people she would call her best friends and is extremely close to, because of this their group is very close-knit and act almost like an odd dysfunctional family. They had known each other since grade school. There was Kurt, their self-proclaimed leader, Lisa their resident Pokémon/Tech nerd, Alex their shy artist and last but not least, Jackie their lazy, sometimes genius of the group.

They use sometimes very lightly, because Jackie had liked to spout random facts of knowledge about something at the oddest of times, such as when they were about 16 and Alex had scrapped his knee against a tree they had clambered up while trying to escape a rampaging group of Pokémon, she had stated that, The sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog." Uses every letter of the alphabet. They had all looked at her like she was stupid, Lisa muttered she was a loser for knowing that and then rolled their eyes while she laughed. Jackie had recalled that moment in time later that day to her family while at the dinner table, this caused her mom to ask why she had this much energy around her friends but when it came to her chores and work at home, she'd just complain and take forever to get a simple thing like dish washing done.

Jackie would just shrug and tell them what she always did before taking away her plate, along with her parents before heading into the kitchen to wash the dishes "I dunno" A couple years would soon pass by and while still extremely close the group would soon go their separate ways Kurt had found a love for battling and had announced to the group one day, that he would be getting his starter, a Cyndaquil, from Professor Elm by the end of the month and then he'd be on his way to become a tough trainer, not too long after Alex was the next to announce his leave, saying that he'd like to pursue his passion as a wandering artist, along with his newest companion Smeargle, the dog like painting Pokémon had stumbled upon Alex one day while he had been sketching and the two instantly hit it off though Alex had to get used to getting his stuff marked up by Smeargle's secreting tail. Having found her passion in studying the habitats of Pokémon and tinkering with weird contraptions she'd made, Lisa had decided that she wanted to become a researcher of Pokémon, they were all leaving by the end of the month, which was just in a couple weeks.

This left Jackie alone and the only one without some sort of ambition but even though they were leaving her, Jackie had excitedly suggested, surprising the trio, that during the last week of the month that they spend all their time together before saying goodbye. The days ticked by extremely fast and during that time, she possibly had the best week of her life and by the end of the last day, as a memoir, she had each bought them a special gift for each of the trio to remember her by.

For Alex it was a brand new sketchbook, with the random fact she had told him that day he scrapped his knee, engraved on the inside of the cover, for Lisa, she bought the girl a miniature sized, about the size of a badge case, tool set and for Kurt she had got him a Yin Yang necklace, with the sun and moon representing Yin and Yang respectively, when Kurt asked why he got a necklace Jackie shrugged hopelessly and said she couldn't think of anything else to get him. Kurt rolled his eyes at her response and smiled, they all thanked her for her gifts and then they were on their ways. She would head home later that evening with a slightly heavy heart, but then she would brighten considerably upon receiving a package addressed to her. Inside was a set of cordless silverish chrome skull decorated headphones, with the words best friends forever engraved on the earpieces, right under the pictured skulls, they also came with a note, signed by Kurt, Alex and Lisa, that told her not to forget them and try not be a pain to her parents while they were gone.

It had only been a couple of weeks after they had left and her parents were starting to become slightly worried and curious, Jackie would always seem so lively when around her friends but with her closest buddies all gone, she would now just lounge around the house and seem more lazy than usual, idly fiddling with her headphones, her parents had claimed she was sulking, but Jackie claimed that she wasn't sulking, she was just acting like she normally would, just with a lot less emotion. They rolled their eyes at this response and suggested to her one night during dinner that she should go ton a journey of her own, I mean she knew the region fairly well, so why not take this time to follow in her friends footsteps and go explore and they figured that some time away from home, away from the memories, would do her some good anything to keep her from looking like someone killed her puppy or something.[/FONT]

[FONT=Lucida Sans Unicode, sans-serif]A few days before she got ready to get her main items from Professor Elm, such as a starter, Pokedex and Pokeballs A new Professor seemed to have come into town, going by the name of Professor Owen and he had offered her a chance to go to some mysterious island. Jackie agreed, but only to prove to her parents that she wasn't sulking and having her best friends leave her was not affecting her in the slightest, they'd give her looks of clear disbelief and she'd sigh before going to her room to pack, wondering what this Lost Island of Hoenn had to offer and she hoped whatever it was didn't involve a lot of manual labor.
