![[PokeCommunity.com] Sekirei: Wings of Fate (OOC) (M) [PokeCommunity.com] Sekirei: Wings of Fate (OOC) (M)](https://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv306/RukiaIsMyLover/Future%20tattoos/Sekirei_Crest.png)
In the year 1999, the mysterious Kamikura island burst to the surface of the ocean. A young researcher decided to explore the island and found an alien spaceship-like construct. Inside were tanks containing life forms: 1 adult, 8 embryos and 99 fertilized eggs. These life forms turned out to be "people" with a genetic code similar to humans. These beings, dubbed "Sekirei", have strange powers beyond anything humans are capable of, but it takes something special to release their true power.
All Sekirei are people that would be considered "beautiful" in one way or another; most are women, some are effeminate men, and very very few (maybe 3 or 4 at the most) are more masculine men. Sekirei can only access the majority of their power(s) through contact with their Ashikabi. Ashikabi are mostly-regular humans whose DNA is compatible with the Sekirei. An Ashikabi and a Sekirei become bonded for life through oral contact (a kiss if that wasn't obvious enough), a process known as being "winged". A Sekirei's power is directly relative to the bond between them and their Ashikabi, as well as how many Sekirei their Ashikabi has.
Every Sekirei has a number, from 1 to 108. Number 1 is the Sekirei who was already an adult when discovered, and is widely accepted as the most powerful, winged or not. 2-9 are the Sekirei discovered as embryos; they are known as "Single Numbers" and are generally as powerful as a regular winged Sekirei before even having an Ashikabi. A Single Number and Ashikabi pair would have a distinct advantage against most others. The Sekirei are part of a scheme called "The Sekirei Plan" that pits them against each other until only one is left and declared the best. There is no telling exactly why.
For the past 18 years most of the Sekirei have been kept in research facilities controlled by the MBI conglomerate, having no acess to the outside world besides TV and whatever MBI tells them. Over this time the Sekirei underwent numerous (surprisingly not abusive) tests and experiments and recently recieved physical augments to be more combat oriented and fit with MBI's designs... some of which were less than clean and innocent. Hiroto Minaka, owner and CEO of MBI, has decided the Sekirei Plan is ready to begin and has released all the Sekirei into Tokyo with one command: Find the humans who will be their Ashikabi.
MBI is an abbreviation for Mid Bio Informatics, a powerful conglomerate founded by Minaka Hiroto, with their headquarters based in Teito Tower and in charge of the Sekirei Plan. With the overtechnology, found in the alien ship on Kamikura Island, he built up MBI as a pharmaceutical company. Soon after this MBI became an economic, technological and medical network, controlling the world in every field. MBI has enough power and influence to take control of a huge city like Tokyo and to own and keep a company army.
You:
You are one of the Sekirei recently released throughout various parts of Tokyo City to find their Ashikabi, or a regular person who has just unknowingly become involved in the Sekirei Plan. The Sekirei have been cooped up in MBI facilities for years and currently know nothing of the outside world besides what they've seen on TV and that they must try to find their Ashikabi. (The Single Numbers are more knowledgable of the outside world but have still been kept in MBI facilities for the past year in preparation for the Sekirei Plan.)
The night before MBI releases all of the Sekirei, every Ashikabi has the same dream simultaneously. Each Ashikabi feels as if a hand is gently caressing their cheek and they hear a voice that is soft and sweet but firm and demanding. "Teach all the little birds the power of love... " After awakening the Ashikabi will go on with their lives as normal until the first time they encounter a Sekirei; at which point, whether you bond or not, you find out that you are a part of the Sekirei Plan.
The Sekirei Plan:
Phase One: The Sekirei are sent out to find their Ashikabi, limited fighting is allowed (preferrably just with NPCs at this point.) Phase two begins when 90% of the Sekirei have been Winged.
Sekirei SU skeleton:
Name:
Gender (There are male Sekirei, but the female-to-male ratio is about 10 to 1, let's please not see a bunch of male Sekirei SUs trying out be special snowflakes.)
Number: (Any number between 2 and 108. There will be only two player controlled single numbers. Leave this blank if you want to be one. Single numbers will be chosen based on SU quality as well as other factors.)
Appearance: (1-2 Paragraphs minimum please. All Sekirei must fit with some established definition of beauty. NONE of them are "plain looking" or "normal".)
Personality: (Once again, 2-3 paragraphs minimum.)
Starting Location: (The city has been divided into four different sections, North, South, East and West. The first people to join will all start in the Northern District until the GMs decide otherwise.)
Destiny: (Put down "alone" if you wish to never have an Ashikabi; be aware that any Sekirei - other than a single number - with no Ashikabi is likely to be very vulnerable. Write down "so-and-so's Sekirei" if you and an Ashikabi-controlling roleplayer have already decided to pair up. Put down "up to fate" if you will start on your own but are open to an Ashikabi partner. Single numbers cannot be destined to be with a specific Ashikabi; they must be alone or up to fate.)
Abilities: (Just a basic description of what powers your character has and how they fight. No need to start with specific techniques; feel free to add them as they make their first appearances in the RP. Abilities can include things like control over elements, enhanced attributes such as strength or intelligence, or just skills with a specific weapon among other possibilities.)
Norito: (Every Sekirei has an incantation or "norito" they must speak, along with a kiss between them and their Ashikabi that puts them in a heightened state of power. This state largely improves all their usual skills and abilities, as well as allowing them to use their greater techniques. Example: "By the thunderstorm of our pact, our Ashikabi's perils will be destroyed!" Multiple digit Sekirei do not learn their Norito until they are winged, this may be left blank until you decide on one. )
Greater Techniques: (Your most powerful attacks/techniques, which can only be used after reciting your Norito and kissing your Ashikabi. Single number Sekrei can have one greater technique before they are winged that they can use without an Ashikabi, but they still need their Norito. Add them here as they are learned/used, they are not a requirement to begin with.)
Brief history: (Single numbers/special cases I approve only. Some of the single number Sekirei got to wander the outside world and have experiences of their own before the Sekirei Plan began, but the higher numbers were kept in research facilities and only released after the Sekirei Plan began. If you do wish to be a single number, leave this blank until/if you are approved.)
Ashikabi SU skeleton:
Name:
Gender:
Age:
Appearance: (1-2 Paragraphs minimum please.)
Personality: (Once again, 2-3 paragraphs minimum.)
Starting Location: (The city has been divided into four different sections, North, South, East and West. The first people to join will all start in the Northern District until the GMs decide otherwise.)
Talents: (What is your character good at and passionate about? Ashikabi can be decent at fighting but that is not their role in the Sekirei Plan, so I don't want to see any "H4Z T0 N1NJ4 5W0RD5 AND PWNS ALL TEH NUBS". Under no circumstances can an Ashikabi fight a Sekirei and do well. Even the weakest Sekirei would annihilate a human in a fight.)

Rules:
- Of course first and foremost all rules of PC and the Roleplay Corner apply beside and ABOVE my own rules.
- An Ashikabi can have multiple Sekirei, but a Sekirei cannot have more than one Ashikabi.
- Romance is an integral part of this story; the only limit I will put on it is to watch your language and to not get too descriptive of sexual actions/thoughts.
- A Sekirei knows who is meant to be their Ashikabi by the reaction of deep emotions and desire to be with that person that their body has. This reaction can come about two ways: sometimes a Sekirei's body reacts to an Ashikabi's the moment they meet, and other times there is no particular reaction upon meeting, but once the Sekirei begins to feel romantic interest in the Ashikabi their body reacts accordingly. The bond is not final until a Sekirei is "Winged" but once their body begins reacting to an Ashikabi the reactions will grow stronger and stronger for that person until they are winged. If a Sekirei fights their body's reactions for too long their power will start to become unstable, eventually they will become poisoned by their own power and die. Sekirei's bodies never react to more than one Ashikabi.
- Single numbers don't form bonds as easily as the rest. They have already had time to live outside before the Sekirei plan, so they are much more world-weary and an Ashikabi must prove they are worthy of their love to cause a reaction within them.
- There is no such thing as a willingly-winged Sekirei who just doesn't like their Ashikabi. They may have problems with them and not get along great, but ultimately a Sekirei always has feelings of affection for their Ashikabi with time. Ashikabi are not necessarily under the same restriction, but it's safe to assume that if someone wings a Sekirei, they want them.
- A battle between two Sekirei is almost always a fight to the death unless the winner decides they want to fight again later. A battle is decided when one Sekirei either dies or is deactivated. A Sekirei is deactivated by their opponent placing a hand on their Sekirei Crest (located on the back right beneath the neck) and reciting their Norito.
- Sekirei don't just spar for fun or training unless they share an Ashikabi, so think carefully before you start a fight with another PC Sekirei. If you do start a fight, decide with the person you challenge ahead of time how the fight will end, and be prepared for the possible death of your character. As mentioned earlier, not every fight has to end in someone's death, but non-lethal fights between Sekirei do not happen very often.
- The Sekirei's fighting style is completely up to the player, but there are a few restrictions on their actual abilities. A Sekirei doesn't just have one ability, but their abilities always share one theme. For instance: control over an element, the strength to crush stone with your bare hands, super fast reflexes, etc.
- A Sekirei can be winged against their will, but you never take another person's free will out of the occasion. Besides the fact that no human could overpower a Sekirei, you must be fair to your fellow roleplayers. An Ashikabi can find a way to forcefully wing a Sekirei for story purposes, but both players must agree beforehand.
- Remember: Single Number Sekirei are almost always more powerful than the higher numbers. (It is quite possible for 2 digit Sekirei to become more powerful than single numbers but only if their bond with their Ashikabi is stronger.) So try to be reasonable in limiting their power. However, single numbers don't just get to be OP either; once again please try and be fair to your fellow RPers.
Sekirei Plan Rules: (Players are allowed to break these rules within reason, just be aware of the possible consequences. Any Sekirei who breaks the Plan's rules might be targeted by the Discipline Squad, a team of single and two-digit Sekirei even more powerful than most winged single numbers (due to augments from MBI) depending on the severity of their infraction.)
1. Sekirei Battles are to be one on one, ganging up on a single victim will not be tolerated. A battle is meant to be directly between two Sekriei, an Ashikabi should not be a target.
2. When a Sekirei ceases functioning it is an unspoken rule for the victor to guard their opponent until MBI picks up the body. This is not an established rule, just a courtesy. But if a Sekirei were to ignore this kindness it would likely anger many other Sekirei, making the perpetrator a target nonetheless.
3. Sekirei can recieve financial support from MBI in the form of debit cards suitable for an almost unlimited number of small purchases. The moment a Sekirei breaks one of the other rules the card is voided. And if a Sekirei should stand against MBI for any reason they become ineligible for support and and are considered permanent targets of the Discipline Squad. Ashikabi are not eligible for MBI support to begin with.
Other (Sekirei Plan) rules will be revealed as new Phases begin.
