What would happen if Pokemon were in the real world...
In the world of Pokemon, a lot of things don't make sense. How do people get money? What are there last names? Where's the government? How are there 20 million frickin Nurse Joys and Officer Jennys? Well, that's all being thrown away.
In this RP, it will be like the real world. You have to earn money, or be a kid. There's government, politics, pro-battling. Your path will be decided by you.
In a futuristic world, many things are unneeded. Cars, planes, and even clean water sources. Many things are from Pokemon.
This is a large Sandbox rp, you get to help develop the plot. I will try to help the plot move along and try to throw in some twists.
These are the new continents.
Pro League
This will show the advancement in the Pro-League and how you have to make your way to the top.
I may seem like lots of attention has been drawn to Pro-Battling which it has but that is just like today's pro sports and celebrities. I figured I'd list many other things that you can choose to do.
Those are just the ones off the top of my head. But, be creative! Come up with a job that you could do that people wouldn't think of!

Spoiler:
Huna
Jabboron
Pyratin
Plarine
Drarine
Spoiler:
This is a small continent that is famous for it's large amounts of fire, rock, ground, steel, and dark type Pokemon. It is a monarchy ruled by a good king. They have produced several top Pro-Battlers through the years.
Spoiler:
A large continent that is home to all kinds of Pokemon. It is run as a representative democracy (think modern day USA). It has most of the world's stadiums and produces the most but not necessarily best Pro-Battlers. It is home to most of the cutting edge technology and due to it's diverse kinds of Pokemon, is home to a large amount of researchers.
Spoiler:
A decently sized continent, home to most kinds of Pokemon but is especially famous for their fairy, psychic, and dark types. They have been home to many terrorists organizations due to abilities their Pokemon have. It is very rare that any of the people from Pyratin make the Pro-Battling leagues. It has a king but he only rules a small area. Everyone outside of his rule in Pyratin are left on their own.
Spoiler:
The rivals of Drarine, this region is home to bug, poison, dark, grass, and ghost type Pokemon. They use sneaky tactics and prefer a less direct approach. They run on feudalism with high crime rates and no ability to join the Pro-Battling unless you are the son of a noble.
Spoiler:
The rivals of Plarine and very much like Plarine, are run on feudalism. They are home to dragon, fire, fighting, and flying type Pokemon. They prefer to go into battle being a force to be reckoned with. Unless you are a son of a noble, you cannot leave the continent to join the Pro-Battling leagues.
Pro League
This will show the advancement in the Pro-League and how you have to make your way to the top.
Spoiler:
Local League: There are so many of these that you would need an Alakazam to count all of them. They give out very small amounts of money and it doesn't take much skill to be in one of these.
Regional League: Take a quarter of the local leagues and that would be how many Regional Leagues there are. These leagues have battlers with decent potential but this is where many battlers fall off. It has just enough pay to make a living by yourself but not nearly enough for a family.
Pro-League C/Bronze League: This is when you start making decent money. Many battlers need an agent in order to stay here. Only the real deal get here and they don't mess around. They only have 16 world wide and they are often televised events. Most participants are known throughout everywhere.
Pro-League B/ Silver League: In the silver league you are making big bucks. There are 4 of these and they are in ever continent but Pyratin. These guys even get to battle Gold League members some times. But, this is a hard life to live and always enjoy. With the luxuries come things like press and constant travel.
Pro-League A/Gold League: There is one of these in the whole world. Only the cream of the crop can get all the way here. If your up here you are definitely someone people shouldn't mess with. These guys mix it up with some silver guys ever year to determine the world champion!

Spoiler:
Scientist. This can be a dangerous job. You can make decent money depending on where you are or what organization you're with. Say, you were in Huna. You would be paid a lot for being in a hard place to live and study. But if you were in Jaborran or Drarine, you might be paid very little.
University Student: This isn't really a job but you can choose to be in college. This is where many aspiring Pro-Battlers go. Many things factoring in, I may decide if you need to pay, how much you have to pay, students only tournaments, and more of the such.
Rangers: The police of this world. Rangers unlike other jobs, start out with a decent pay and it can become very high. HOWEVER, there is a high drop-out rate. That will be decided by me. Many drop-outs end up joining the Pro-Battling world. Some of the greats were previous rangers.
Coordinators: The entertainers of this realm. They use their Pokemon to put on shows whether that be comedy, singing, or just a circus like act. They start out with little pay in very small shops or stores but can become greats and sing at big events. They even have competitions for different types of coordinators.
Start a "Group": If you wish, you may start a group of any kind. Whether it be a group of good guys, terrorists, or scientists. This can also be an organization. Depending on what kind of group it is, I may require you to have enough money to start it, and you must be able to pay your employees. You can get sponsors, find someone that will invest you, etc.
