Anime/Manga Tales of Zestiria the X

Kamui-ka! We got to see the Armatization with Lailah, I wish we could have see him a little longer but since it's the first time Sorey uses the fusion it wouldn't make much sense to spoil what else he can do.

Sorey faints at the end of the episode, which in the game ultimately leads to Alisha leaving the party since he cannot take the burden of providing power to Alisha for her to see Serpahims. Is this the first hint that they will be leaving Alisha out the main story as in the videogame?

The preview was quite clear with the fact that 'see you again in episode 6', which means next episode (5) we'll have some new visitors... is it time for Berseria perhaps?

I still believe Alisha is not joining the party due to the foreshadowing of Sorey getting tired due to the overuse of powers.

YES! (actually a lot of the cast get some good saabisu like Rokurou, and especially Velvet.)

Berseria is an extremely polished Tales entry, probably the most since Vesperia PS3 (Xillia 2 is a close second, but falls short on a few things). A lot of care went into this game, and it really shows in just the first few hours. Battle system builds onto Zestiria's, but with more Graces inspirations. As a result, there's a lot of technical aspects to it since Break Soul is a double-edge system and the primary way to heal, however, when you get it down; it becomes really, really fun. And, I'm not even including Switch Blasts. This is also the best iteration of the A.I, it sort of goes both ways. Enemies can be passive at times and they'll always want to block, so you'll have to interrupt them during attacks. Your party A.I is phenomenal, in that their Perfect Dodging is 10/10, so they're going to be alive for a good portion of the battle unless they get ganged up on or hit by a spell; seriously, I've died more on Gigantos (Also, these fuckers are extremely dangerous again. Go into these with a plan or test out the waters. More similar to the Vesperia Gigantos than Xillia 2's or Zestiria's) fight than my A.I buddies have.

Plot is in line with the other Tales game. So, better than Zestiria, and while there are some pacing issues with backtracking at some portions, there's a clear focus on the plot and the direction it heads to. Playing Zestiria beforehand may hamper your experience though. As it's a prequel, a couple of connections are made, and it can be a little iffy on how they're handled or will lead to with Zestiria knowledge.

Basically, if you didn't like Zestiria, you might be in the clear. Berseria has more ties to the Xillia games in how it's structured in both maps (not a lot of sightseeing), dungeons (SAY HELLO TO HALLWAYS), and overall feel. The mechanics that came from Zestiria all became simplified or altered in some way. It's an overall 'safe' entry for the Tales series, not a lot of innovation, but some quality stuff.

tl;dr It's not really Zestiria 2. It's kinda Xillia 3, lol.
