    Pokémon World Championships 2016

    It's that time of year once again where the top Trainers from around the world come together to compete for the title of World Champion!

    This year, from 19th-21st August, the Pokémon World Championships will be taking place in San Francisco, USA, with Pokémon players from more than 35 countries competing not just for the titles but for a slice of the $500,000 prize pool!

    For those of us not lucky enough to attend The Pokémon Company will be streaming every moment of play via four live streams on Twitch.tv/Pokemon!​



    Streaming Schedule

    All times in Pacific Time (GMT-7) and are approximate and subject to change.

    General Coverage
    Friday: 9 a.m.–10 p.m.
    Saturday: 9 a.m.–10 p.m.
    Sunday: 9 a.m.–6 p.m.

    Pokémon Video Game Championships
    Friday: 9 a.m.–10 p.m.
    Saturday: 9 a.m.–10 p.m.

    Pokémon TCG Championships
    Friday: 9 a.m.–9 p.m.
    Saturday: 9 a.m.–9 p.m.

    Pokkén Tournament Championships
    Friday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (Last Chance Qualifiers coverage)
    Saturday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

    Note that on Sunday, all TCG and VGC matches will be shown on the general streaming channel.​
