Patch: [FireRed] Text Box Patches

this is nice but do you know what space it occupies in the rom? that'd be helpful for knowing if it can be used on games that are in progress.

I agree with Mr Ghost, the textboxes are looking nice, but without knowing which offsets they use from the ROM, using them is too risky.

The HGSS one looks really great with the DDP font and the HGSS HP Boxes.

The Gen 4 (D/P, Pt and HG/SS) patches have been updated so the type 2 text box won't look the same as the type 1 text box, The Gen 4 games used the default D/P text box for type 2, and they had multiple palette variations. For the updated patches, I used the brown palette:


I've also added a B/W patch:

It was made to obsolete the old one made by Spanish user HollowRoxas, as his patch only replaced the type 1 box.

None of these patches will repoint anything, so it shouldn't cause any bugs. I only edited the graphics and palettes with NSE.

I also recommend crediting me if you use any of the patches, as most people that used them didn't, and I had to remind them.​

Thank you so much for this, I didn't use any of your patches, but thanks to you, I kinda got inspired, and made a few more changes.
I personally never really liked most of the Text Frames from FR&LG, as for R/S/E they have a lot more options to choose from, so I Recycled one the frames, and created three other ones based on others from Gen4 games
