Game Help: Gen IV/V DNS Mystery Gift

Does anybody know if the Gen IV/V DNS Server from a year or two ago is still up? I was reading about it and my friend got it to work but now when I try it I just get connection errors. I've double checked the DNS address and all my connections and i've tried on an open network. Any info is appreciated.

Yeah, it still works. you have to expect connection errors from time to time. No server is gonna have a perfect uptime.

Which games are you running into more problems with? Gen IV or V?
