I can feel my precious Happiny edge closer to evolution! She’s learning new moves at a rapid rate, becoming more powerful, and her healing moves have done wonders for the rest of my team! My sweet Daisy is just the cleric I always wanted and seems supremely thrilled in her role. Should be any moment now!
On my travel, another trainer named Xorn was kind enough to compliment my Pokémon! It was fun being able to share all of the hard work that went into gathering such a collection. I’ve no doubt she too will be on her way to a massive Pokémon collection also!
And lastly, I met this delightful trainer named Aquacorde! Doesn’t that sound familiar?? Well, while we were walking through some tall grass we stumbled across a whole orchard of berry trees! As we carefully traversed the field, we became aware of two Munchlax each perched on a tree branch gorging themselves on Sitrus Berries. They looked half asleep in their berry induced coma, so Aquacorde and I teamed up to each catch one! Success! Another Pokémon to add to the dex! Thanks Aquacorde, I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you!
As predicted, my Happiny has evolved into the defensive and ever so soft Blissey! She's probably getting tired of me hugging her so much. But I can't help it! Look at how soft and pink she is! Any Pokemon that doesn't want cuddles shouldn't be so adorable and that just a fact of nature. But! That's not the only good new for today!
After wandering through that orchard my dear Blissey came across a small patch of oddly shaped berries! I was hesitant to take many, but I figured a few wouldn't be missed, so I collected one Ribbon shaped berry and one Heart shaped berry. As I was putting them in my pack I noticed a small rustling in a nearby thorn bush. It seemed a poor Milcery (no doubt trying to pilfer some of these berries I presume!) had gotten itself caught in some brambles. After struggling to slowly and carefully remove the amorphous creature from the thorns and having Blissey use Heal Pulse, the Milcery jumped to life and landed right in my arms! It sniffed around my pack -- definitely interested in the berries I had picked. But it looked at me with such loving and determined eyes that I just had to make it mine.
I placed the little goo on the ground and promised I would evolve it should it stay my partner. With a few hops of enthusiasm in agreement, we settled on the name Tainía. Welcome to the team my gorgeous little Fairy goo!
Alas, that was only the beginning of the days events, as in that moment a shooting star landed just beyond a hill besides the orchard. Tainía, Daisy, and I ran to see what on earth was going on only to find a meteorite with a glowing orange core. I better get it to a Pokemon Center and fast!
Nurse Joy told me the meteorite that I had found was a Pokemon named Minior and I had gotten it to her just in time. I have no idea why that little guy was plummeting through the air but it couldn't have been a good thing. Right now the poor thing is still in a super-potion induced coma in the Pokemon ICU, but with daily visits behind the curtain and an Aromatic Mist or two from Tainía, I'd like to think I've grown on it a little. And hey, it has no chip or trainer tag on it so that means it must be wild! But.. we'll deal with capturing once Minior is feeling better. Right now its health is much more important. Poor little guy..
Tainía's been holding onto that strange shaped Ribbon berry for some time now and I'm surprised she's been able to keep it away from Munchlax -- the naughty boy! I suppose that's the benefit of having an amorphous body, you can hide berries anywhere! I wonder why she's so attached to it though.. Maybe it has something to do with Milcery evolution? Tainía's a swift learner and is leveling up quickly so maybe she knows something I don't! Either way, she better keep it safe before Munchlax sneaks it right out from under her nose!
Speaking of hording items, guess what I got at the Mart today? That's right, a MEGA RING!!
I have no idea how to use it and so far no Mega Stones that are compatible.. not to mention I'm completely out of cash AGAIN. But I just couldn't pass this opportunity up! How may trainers can say they have a Mega Ring now? Feelin real cute with this thing, ngl! <3
After finally breaking away from the hustle of the main city, Tainía finally got a moment to enjoy her sweet! It's been exciting, what with bringing Minior to the team and having Munchlax evolve, so she deserved something nice. <3 And when she ate the sweet, she evolved! So welcome Tainía the Salted-Cream Ribbon Alcremie! She's still a spunky as ever and just as adorable!
While we were walking Northbound towards slightly colder climates, Tainía and I came across a tranquil little lake fed from a nearby river that deltas off into the sea about a mile away. It was peaceful, serene, and overall just a wonderful little resting spot to enjoy before we headed forward onto our journey. While relaxing, a faint splash caught our attention. At first, I paid the sound no mind, but after Tainía started getting excited I eventually turned over to see what the fuss was about. Poking its head up out of the water was a petite Dratini! I watched while Tainía and the Dratini played for a moment. Tainía marveled at the little dragon while the other seemed more captured by the sweet smell coming off of her. After splashing playfully for a moment, the Dratini peaked towards my direction, only to duck down below the water's surface. Tainía padded at the water softly for a moment longer before Dratini once again rose to make eye contact with me. Looking between the two of us, Tainía gave a small hum of joy.
Sorbet the Dratini evolved into Dragonair! The most regal of all Dragon Pokémon.

TRAVEL LOG // continued
After learning Dragon Dance, Sorbet began to shimmer this brilliant white and yellow color. It comes and goes, especially when interacting with my other Pokémon or after being victorious in battle; but each scale that shines of Sorbet’s long, blue body makes me hopeful that an evolution may be closing in! I’m going to miss Dragonair’s sleek, elegant form, but as long as Sorbet as happy than so am I. We’re going to keep working hard together!
On a lighter note, Sorbet and my Delcatty, Chai, seem to have developed a rather close bond. I often find them curled up besides one another with Sorbet’s tail orbs laid between Chai’s ears. I think she likes the gentle sway of Sorbet’s tail gems. Such a classic kitty-cat!
I’m a little worried about Nargacuga, my Gliscor. While there’s nothing wrong with being a lone wolf I worry he might be isolating himself from the other Pokémon, spending his days in treetops. Narga clawed not so playfully at Stella when I sent her up to ascertain why he’s been so lonely, which prompted another trip to the Pokémon Center. Maybe a Pokémon with a firm outer skin and an empathetic soul can break through his icy demeanor?
After mega-evolving my Mawile, an evolution I dare so looks fabulous on her, we decided to head north to the wild peaks of the snowy mountain ranges looking for Ice type Pokémon. The hike through the valley to the ridge of the glacier was long and arduous, but, in a stroke of pure luck we found another trainer camping in the nearby valley.
Her name was Caite and wow, did she have a massive collection of Pokémon to show me! I was so impressed and we got to know each other a little more as our Pokémon joyfully played in the safety of some Oran Berry bushes near the river. Caite said she was adamantly on the hunt for a mastermind criminal group that I’d never heard of called Team Rocket. Though the way she talked about them made it seem a little more like she admired them than disliked them. Especially the purple haired male of the duo, James. It was like she was swooning, haha.
To honor our friendship and commitment to hunting down this mysterious Team Rocket, Caite offered to train a Skorupi with me! I named mine Pixel. Apparently it’s Poison/Dark typing is will be very helpful, she claimed.
Not long after, Caite and I parted ways as I resumed my journey to ascend the winters mountain. I have a feeling I’ll see Caite again. :)
Snorunt, much to my luck, had a swift evolution to Froslass! Which came as a wonderful surprise because there’s no way to differentiate between a male or female Snorunt, so I am very happy to have this icy, ghostly goddess on my team!
It’s been a hard and treacherous journey through these glacial mountain tops, but there was a charming little reprieve from the howling winds and hail in the form of a log cabin turned Pokémon center. I actually believe the Nurse Joy lives here but converted her mountaintop retreat to a healing facility for those trainers daring enough to scale the glaciers.
It was there I met भाग्य ज्योति! After a quick discussion we agreed to raise a Treecko together as a team. I’ve never owned a Treecko before and I’m a little concerned about how it’ll feel in such cold climates, but surely there’s a hot spring around to rest in, right? Maybe we can all relax there. I, sure Evergreen and the rest of the Pokémon would appreciate it.
