I would say that a lot of my favourites hold up really well actually.
In terms of books most of my favourites are by Stephen King, whose works to be honest are ubiquitous in the genre. A lot of my particular favourites (Cujo, Christine, Dark Tower) I'd argue still hold up today for sure!
Their film counterparts however... maybe not so much!
