Now that I look at it more, the NES had mediocre games at best.
Super Mario Bros. was the worst sidescroller I've played and Super Mario Bros. 3 was the most overrated sidescroller I played.

You should get the classic controller if you don't have it already. Apart from the nunchuk, it's probably the only desirable and cheap add-on for the Wii.

Playing Golden Sun again to catch up on Dark Dawn and Isaac is a silent protagonist even when Ivan is reading his mind XDDD

Dying was basically the only thing I did on Super Mario Bros. 3. :(
That game was Nintendo Hard.

It was terribly annoying about halfway towards world 2, but I finished it pretty fast on the GBA version.

After about 3 hours of dying in World 2 and doing the levels over, I quit and never played it again. This was about 2-3 years ago so I may have been really bad at platforming games then.
