If Umby injured itself, what would it to do try and heal?

There's the use of its various attacks, some mentioned already like Moonlight. But there's also Rest and Wish. If it was seriously injured, Umby can use Rest and hole up somewhere safe while recovering, or Wish, if it needs urgent rehab.

Like -Flavaquil- Say, there are three healing move of umbreon. Moonlight and wish recover half of it's hp, while rest full. But normally umbreon only could learn moonlight. rest via tm while wish egg move. So i stick with moonlight. Maybe it could go to pokemon center too..

How would it heal itself? Well...obviously if it's at a high enough level it would use Moonlight, or maybe it would find some berries if it didn't know it. Or maybe it would steal potions from the Pokemarts. XD

But I don't think it would seeing as pokemon can't use human-made items/medicines, unless it was planning on stealing ¥300 and paying some trainer to spray-heal it.

Why not? Its intelligence would help it be able to operate any artificial items. It may just need some time thinking.

Potions have a squeeze-spray trigger on them, doesn't matter how smart it is, umbreon doesn't have any fingers. In the games if you make a pokemon hold a potion they can't use it to heal, but with the berries they can.

Yeah, no matter how smart he was, even if he could spray by pushing his legs together into it or something I think he would miss, just think about it....

Potions have a squeeze-spray trigger on them, doesn't matter how smart it is, umbreon doesn't have any fingers. In the games if you make a pokemon hold a potion they can't use it to heal, but with the berries they can.

Umm.. yeah. After all, Eevee evolves by happiness and Gary must have had Eevee pretty happy to evolve into Umby.

2. The move psychic is a furor or raw telekinetic energy built up around the body which is then launched, it would shatter the potion in 10 different ways. >D
Espeon could heal itself with a potion using telekenesis.*jealous*
Umbry can't refine the raw psychic waves required to manipulate objects using its mind,
solely because it's not a psychic-type poke

I think gary comes off as a jerk(kind of like me,) but he treats his pokemon well, just like any good trainer would.
He loved his umbreon the most, friendship-wise, and used Blastoise/Nidoking the most because they were good starer pokemon.
I think the fact that he traveled with the umbreon out, and only resorted to using it last, goes to show closeness of the two.(well I wouldn't like to see my favourite pokemon sustaining bad injuries.)

XD, but that's only if its restricted to an "ingame" experience. In the anime, there are no TMs, and so therefore, it would be possible for Pokemon to learn TM attacks; and that has been done before.

Lol, just taking out every chance of Umby's Psychic abilities.
